Over the same period Woolwich were spending 50m more on wages than us every year , I know it's not anything to do with this point but used to piss me off when scum would talk about money as if wages do not go into the equation.

Well waddya know. There was a poster on here, popular lad, who suggested Zaha was on 25-40k a week and Moura 120-140k.

He’s come on since then, put on mass and looks strong as well as tall.

If we are breaking even on transfers, but paying more in wages for incoming players, (which we are) then you’re wrong. That extra money has to come from elsewhere. It’s not hard.

Yeah, that’s my point. That’s why you can’t look at transfer net spend in isolation. Wages are being paid from other revenues.

Wages have a much more direct relationship to results than transfer fees.
Yea he's good if enigmatic. He'll be frustrating in parts and brilliant in parts. Hoping under Poch's guidance that consistency will come that Son is starting to get. In fact, a comparison to Sonny, in terms of being a frustrating gamechanger when he first came is apt.

No idea if Moura is any good But as we are told he is not match fit or premiership match fit it is difficult to see him being anything other than a sub for at least a month. Now that is still good as having a creative player on the bench is a big asset and that used to be Son but he starts now.
