2018 FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA 14th June - 15th July

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It’s probably why humans will always have wars , hate , hold grudges , atrocities happened & are happening , most of them are decisions made by our “ leaders” who send the masses out to kill one another while they watch from afar, congratulationing themselves. In reality, why would I hate anyone from anywhere?

It’s quite small minded & sad to see a sign in Cornwall graffitied “ fuck off england “ . What has your average holiday maker done wrong?

I guess in a way, the vocal dislikers being how they are makes it easier to know who to avoid or become friends with.

I made my avatar the Yorkshire rose because I like cricket, and then someone says I’m oppressing him and his wife. People can fuck off Furs. This place is ridiculous. Even the so called ‘reasonable’ posters (or so they like to think) are rabid nutters. I’ll keep Hitler - at least he had nothing specifically against Cornwall apart from wanting to invade it. Fucking English cunts.

An injured Alli is probably good news. It takes him out of the shop window and enables England to switch to 3-4-3
Stones-Cahill-McGuire
Walker-Dier-Henderson-Rose
Rashford-Kane-Sterling

With the option to stick Dier into the back 3 and bring on Loftus Cheek if we need a goal

An injured Dele is a tragedy in my opinion.....especially for the player, he will be devastated if he can’t play more games.

Fuck the shop window he’s not for sale....the best thing for us is Dele tears it up, and comes back to Spurs buzzing

People are so selective at what offends them these days , it’s called being over precious & it’s all because some megalomaniac leader told his farmers to kill or hate another bunch of farmers who don’t belong to him/her. & we fall for it every time

Thought it was Charlie Chaplin :D

The easiest thing is to talk of how well the Spurs players played but yesterday I thought Alli was very good in the first half and that Trippier was the most consistent throughout (could be international football suits him better than donestic football) and that Kane will go down as the hero and rightly so. Of the others Henderson was strong. Bigger and harder tests lay ahead.

We aren't that good and yesterday showed it but our best and worst is also not so distant in terms of quality so I hope and think Southgate has to change it a little against Panama.

Rest Kane? I think Vardy is a good option and that Loftus Cheek and Rashford should also start. Rose and Trippier as the wing backs would make sense as well.

But I definitely feel we don't get beyond the last 8 unless the squad is rotated.

It's why I see the winners being one of Brazil, Spain or France. Just got the strongest depth. And Portugal because they have him.

So long as Alli is only out for one match, would love to what he can do against the Belgium boys.

You cannot rest the Captain and Kane much like for Spurs will be after setting goal records. Panama is the perfect opportunity to grab more goals and the golden boot. Imagine if he got that as well as leading us to glory. The meltdown would be off the scale.:kaneear:

But the downside is that you risk overplaying him. It's a balance.

In part you saw that with us last season.

Managers should not be scared of making decisions for the team.

I agree Kane is likely to start but does he need to? Forget the personal glory.

It’s the World Cup, there is no over playing. None of those players want to be rested. We’ve played one match and you’re talking about resting the best player. For all we know they only have 3 matches then it’s the plane home.

No chance really after yesterday.

Rest as in have on bench ready if needed.

I am talking of utilising and employing your squad to keep the players fresh, hungry and involved.

It is immaterial because it won't happen re: Kane but I would be hugely surprised if he plays more than 60/65 minutes if we are ahead by 2 on Sunday.

This stuff of golden boot takes care of itself if we go deeper into the competition.

Winning a golden boot and going out in the last 16 would be pointless unless this is all about Kane, which I am sure it's not.

Pulling for England, so don't get me wrong, but I think you start your best XI. Panama shouldn't be taken too lightly. England is the better team, and should win, but I say start him and if you're up 2, 3-0, you sub him out to rest him. Beat Panama and the game with Belgium only decides seeding for the next round, Tunisia isn't winning two games. If you somehow come out of the Panama match with a tie (or God forbid, worse), you're gonna need a result against a very good Belgium team. Go into Belgium with 6 points, and you can rest Harry and bring him on for the last 15 just to keep him sharp. That's if you're even considering resting him. I'd start him, and only take him off the final 10-20 if either of the last two matches decided. Just my humble opinion.
