And knowing Levy, we probably will.
Yeah....so they improved when everyone thought they were fucked.
We bought nobody due to not selling any key players
Yes, these were excellent and explicit quotes from Pocchetino, too...........“In football you always need to think you can improve and you need to try to improve your squad."?...........
.........“Maybe it’s a coincidence, or maybe it’s because we are geniuses. But in January we are going to try to sign players........
...... you cannot play with destiny, you need to build the team properly. We need as a club in January to try to refresh the squad to move the club on."
Who: JJ
When: Today? Last night?
Where: That place has no name, it's dead to me
“De Jong turned us down, as did Pulisic”
I think we are all going to be left dissapointed as no one can see the club buying fuck all.Yes, these were excellent and explicit quotes from Pocchetino, too.
Without actually uttering the words "Levy, man, get your fucking hands in your pockets and finally give me the support I've earned . Please help me win some silverware instead of expecting miracles on a shoestring " on his knees, begging bowl in hand, he really couldn't have made his position any clearer.
As others have said, this window will go a long way towards telling us wether Mauricio Pochettino will be at Spurs next season
I mean that's all fine, if we get a truckload of cash for Eriksen and then turn around and pay a lesser fee to add a player to play that role, and use the rest to buy cover elsewhere or to lock other guys down to long-term contracts or whatever, then that's life and you move forward and keep fighting. If Eriksen wants to play elsewhere that's his right, he's served out his contract brilliantly and with not a word of complaint. As Coutinho largely did.
But if ENIC are just going to swallow the fee and operate at a negative net transfer spend, never mind the gaping hole the squad Eriksen would leave, the comparison to Liverpool falls apart.

Of course it would but despite peoples bizarre claims about ENIC, name one time a big player was sold and the money disappeared?
Bale money we bought seven players to everyones delight. All very well saying now it didnt work out but we broke our transfer record 3 times in one year.
Modric left and we bought Jan, Dembele, Lloris, Siggy, Dempsey, Ade and Holtby
Walker left we bought Sanchez, Aurier, Llorente, Gazzaniga, Foyth and Moura
Not sure where this myth about yachts over the team has come from to be honest. Simply a fake claim.
If we don't sign anyone and he stays, ill hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. As I have done in the past. What if we dont sign anyone and he stays?
What will you claim then? He was double tricked?
He's already been let down. Pricking around all last summer at the supermarket, come home with one arm as long as the other. If we don't sign anyone and he stays, ill hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. As I have done in the past.
If we don't sign anyone and he leaves, will you admit he was let down and not supported by the owners?
We had a negative net spend for five consecutive years!
Which, like, whatever, it worked, we got insanely lucky. But a negative net spend over the next five years will make Spurs the Champions League side a distant memory, period. A Liverpoolesque net spend might have the same result though. It's hard!
A select few of those would only cause concern upon their departure, but it would be quite the concern. Namely Eriksen and Toby. I do agree though, it would be nice to see some proactive steps taken. So it's looking like over the next 6 months we will be losing Vorm, Alderweireld, Dembele, Nkoudou, Eriksen, Janssen & Llorente, with question marks over players like Rose, Wanyama & personally I think one of our RBs are in a fair bit of trouble.
A potential 7-10 movers to occur. We really do need to get moving with a move or two soon

But seriously, all I want is to win. So I don't get into the Levy Out stuff, we are a brilliant side as presently constructed and a joy to watch.
That will not last for long at our present level of financial investment in the playing squad. That's my point. It's something to be aware of as we go forward.
