Can't make the game but the pub near the hospital is showing the game, I think.
If I can get out without killing someone, I should be able to make the 2nd half. Just in time to see our final 3 goals. 5-1 win. We have something to prove today and I feel a rout coming on. A pint per goal and a taxi to the station as walking may not be possible.

Is this going to be one of those nights when the pitch becomes a leveller their players cope and ours can't, I think my bet of 1-3 might be alright or shall I opt for 2-3 because we are bound to concede.

I agree the pitch will be a problem, but I think we'll cope. Parrot will get a goal or two if we play Moura and Son.

They'll probably score a scrappy one from a corner, where it gets saved, then cleared badly because of a bobble, gifting someone a shot from the edge of the box, which ricochets around until their their aging, immobile striker toe-pokes it in and gets laid for the first time in months.

I mean for the old, immobile striker who hasn't gotten laid's sake I hope you're right. I can root for a man on a dry spell.
