Nearly 60% want the fraud to stay. Incredible how the wool has been pulled over.

Poch is a fucking fraud. End of story. Tactically inept and relied on players overachieving to climb in esteem.

Won't win a trophy in his career, and perhaps won't even manage again after Spurs since his mentality is pathetic and his ego is massive. Brand New World what a fucking joke.

BBC has a new stats column up and we're at an away win % of 0% since early this year. Worst in the league. There's giving a manager time and there's blindly following a fraud.

Poch won't resign though because he wants the moolah and Levy won't fire him because of the moolah. At this rate we'll be bottom by Christmas (if not before) and let's see how many of you still want to suck on the fraud then. My guess is a good % will. Incredible how critical fans are called plastics, but those who support a clown over the club are real fans.

Just cast my vote. Another for the Poch Out camp, sadly. <sigh>

In short, I think he's taken us as far as he can. I appreciate the improvement he's made around here, but as others have pointed out, we haven't actually won anything under his tenure. I really wanted him to be successful with us. But he honestly looks now like a beaten man. His persona has changed. But most of all, I simply cannot understand his persistence in choosing the same players that are out of form, or who obviously are looking forward to January and their next pay-day. The team against Red Star gave me a new hope. A hope that Poch had finally decided that enough was enough. The very next game he changed it all again. There was no upcoming mid-week fixture to rotate for. Yes, we can all have different opinions about line-ups, but so many of us are saying the same thing about his team and game management that we can't all be wrong?

"Be careful what you wish for", some may say. Maybe. But for me, it's time to roll the dice and start again.

I would love for Poch to turn this around. But right now, I just don't see it happening.

Excellent post mate. Perfectly sums up how I feel too. I hope this doesn’t become too toxic now and our fan base start behaving like that lot down the road..

With CL football looking more of a distant prospect with every passing week Levy’s finger must be hovering on the trigger.

It’s not that Levy or the players (snide, snivelling cowards that some of them are) aren’t in some way culpable BUT the manager is responsible for team selection, squad harmony, tactics and style, motivation, in-game decisions - & this, from the outside looking in, has all been sorely lacking for well over a year now. Add to this our recent failures to win when it matters most, his blatant flirting with RM/ManU and increasingly barmy press conferences then I’m afraid this narrative writes itself..

Maybe it's because they know the real fraud is the man who employed him.
And in 10 years time, 3 or 4 managers down the line we'll be having exactly the same conversations as today.
If you're expecting Levy's next appointment to miraculously start succeeding where all his previous shots have failed you'll be sorely disappointed in my opinion.

All those who think there is no chance we will get relegated are the same lot who probably thought Leicester would never win the league , I think we are to good to go down or even be in a relegation battle , but our form would suggest otherwise, I said I would give him till the pool game before making a decision yet he goes and picks the old guard again and his in game management again baffling, waiting untill we are losing before making a change when even Stevie wonder could see we could have done with a Ndombele coming on at half time and Erisken making way for GLC , I think it’s time for him to go, those who talk of underinvestment and blame levy seem to forget our 2 record breaking signings started on the bench, it doesn’t matter how much you spend or who you sign if your manager doesn’t play them what difference can they make?

The flip side to that is that we all had a good laugh and wanted Wenger “to stay”.

We took the piss out of the fans who backed him, and laughed at the top 4 trophy.
Despite the austerity of paying off a new stadium and barely signing any players for years, we laughed at him despite constant CL qualification.

None of us said their owners were the problem.

Now we have a situation where some of us are acting like that down the road. By steadfast backing a manager that is completely out of touch with his players, has one system, no back up plan, and can’t adapt and improve to stay ahead of, or even with the pack.

Difference is that Wenger had won titles, doubles and FA Cups.

So you are saying Poch is a failure?

Thats ironic, most people feel sacking AVB was the right decision and hiring Poch improved us and took us up a level.

Now it’s time to repeat the process.

All this time and I thought you were for Poch, seems like you would have preferred to give AVB time now.

Agree with this. Poch has taken us forward. Massively. We were so far behind in that respect. But every club has a journey to take, Poch was an important step in ours.

But we have to push on.

Er, yes we did. I'm far from alone in saying that their decline started the day they got rid of Dein. Under Kronky they've just accelerated the process.

btw, whoever fired Dein ought to be on my Xmas card list forever. Goons would probably be up there with the financial muscle of Real, Barça and Yanited if the owners had been as good as the Dein Wenger combo. Nightmare scenario or what.

Edit - and before you accuse peeps of hindsight, again I wasn't alone in celebrating when Dein got the tin tack.

Yeah I didnt hear singing Kronky I want you to stay

The fairytale ending would of been seeing him lift the European cup and then setting off into the sunset going to Madrid or whoever but failed doing that.
Seems that was the ending he was looking for.

8 different posters on this page alone so far......what is it with Poch In and fake news?

The whole point of a forum is for everyone to express their opinion. If some people want him in or out won't affect Levy's decision in any way. The poll here can remain at 57% in and it still won't prevent Levy from sacking him. The same goes if the majority votes him out... a poll on a forum won't affect the outcome.

However, there seem to be a lot of people who still think he is worthy of the job according to the poll, but most of them don't write on the board with the reasoning behind it.

Massive overachievement?

Losing the title to Leicester and finishing 3rd after capitulating a 13pt lead to arse when Kane, Eriksen, Dele, Walker, Rose, Dembele, Toby and Jan were all considered world class?

Losing five semi finals and 2 finals and constantly experimenting in these games and playing unfit players etc

What fucking achievement?
Top 4 trophy is not a trophy for us anymore than it was for Wenger....we’ve won NOTHING, and have barely played 10 excellent 90 minute games in 3 years.

He’s done the bare minimum if you look at it without the soppy emotional “I love him” bollocks.

You’ve been had proper, like the rest of them.....it’s become blatantly obvious that the squad was carrying Poch and not the other way around.
He was the one punching above his weight, not that we were lucky to have him.

It all clicked, but when his credentials were truly tested when the team started getting found out, his new way failed massively and he has fuck all idea how to fix it.

Throwing players up front like it his name was Fat Sam.....
more attackers = more goals!!!!

:freundgoal:

Benching the new breed and playing the same players that still aren’t performing.....taking off the RB and chucking in AMs with minutes left like coins into a wishing well.
That’s his only “plan b”.....hoping the players he DOESNT RATE are suddenly good enough to change a game in 2 minutes.

The man has been managing since 2009, and being top 4 four times is a fucking miracle?
450M spent on 27 players in five years and the 5th highest paid manager in Europe and cunts crying like he’s Oliver Twist.

Jog the fuck on, the man is taking the piss out of you, and you want to give him 22 new players and another 5 years to fuck that up too?

Mugs
For us it is, which other manager has Levy employed during the last 18 years has done that except Poch?

There’s literally about 4 people defending Poch with words. Over and over again in debate. Which is fine by me......and fine by certain others.

But those same certain others have a problem with 20 odd people criticising him.
And claim it’s one person.

Absolute shambles the way some people carry on. If you want to post something, post it.
The defence of Poch so far what I can make out is:

“You’re a shit fan”
“We lost the CL Final”
“Three years ago we were really good”
“2018 window”

Every shit game, every week and it’s the same four reasons to keep him.
But every week, the reasons to sack him go up ten fold, due to another clusterfuck of a decision or performance.

You are ignoring the process of progression.
Jol wasn’t meant to make us regular top 4 but was sacked for not getting there anyway.

Harry overachieved and was sacked. To the delight of people on here cry wanking for Poch.

AVB set us back five years, and was rightly sacked.

Poch took us up a level, and came to the end of his limits. Now we are where we were 6 years ago. Heading for the relegation zone.
Time to go. He’s on 9M a year and has regressed.
Do you understand what regression means?

Do you think being good for a few years means we should allow him to be shit for a few years too?
