Manager Jose Mourinho

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

What excuses???

Based on what we saw obviously this side is not creative enough because they just went out there and showed that they weren't. They weren't held back in any way by the manager. There was not a single thing the manager did that stopped them from getting a shot on net. That was 100% the players.

Again when Moura was running untouched into the box and just lost the ball is that on the manager? Was it Jose's management that caused that to not be a shot on target or a goal? When Moura refused to pass to a wide open Son was that Jose's management?

When Sissoko and Winks were unable to make simple forward passes was that Jose's management?

When the great Ndombele came on and couldn't make a single pass to Kane or Son to spring them was that on Jose's management?

Was it Jose's management that had VAR disallow the clear penalty?

If these players need a manager to come to create chances for them against Bournemouth then we are in major trouble.
Ok question in response. If we had Klopp as manager for the last 9 months, do you genuinely think we wouldn’t have had a shot on target and drawn 0-0?

If the answer is no, clearly the manager matters. If the answer is yes, I can’t imagine you watch much football.

I think it is entirely possible that we would have had zero shots yes because our lack of shots had nothing to do with the manager and everything to do with the execution of the players.

Now you might argue that if we had Klopp he might have brought in different players, i doubt he would have been able to, and they could have effected the game but our lack of shots were due to the players lack of execution and ability.

And if you disagree with that then I can't imagine you watch any football.

That was fuck all to do with Jose though, because according to you it's all about the players.

When did I say it was all about the players?

I understand that making up arguments that aren't there are easier to argue against than actually addressing what is said but it is pretty pointless.

We backed our way into the top four last year. You want a run of 25 (or close to it) games where we looked this bad take a look at our run from the end of December until Poch was fired, it looked very similar to this.
Dortmund at wembley was better than anything we've seen under Mourinho but yeah we were poor from January but then Poch was rightly sacked and he had credit in the bank. Mourinho has no credit with us.

We were in the top 4 12 months ago. We do need players and i agree we're not top 4 now but we are not as bad as we've shown since Chelsea at home. I've been supporting the club for 45 years and i'm struggling to think of any run of 25 or so games on the spin when we've looked this abject. Maybe under Gerry Francis at the end. We looked better under Sherwood and AVB on occasions than this.

We've been shocking since end of Dec 2018. The rot started under Poch

No. Klopp with THESE players could play Bournemouth 1000 times and would never not have a shot on target. Same with Pep.

I’m not debating anymore, If you can’t understand the basic dynamic of a Jose team and the low block which he has been utilising for 16 years, you clearly know very little about the game. I’ll save my energy!

You talk so much shite it's unreal.

When you don't understand what you're saying, don't try and tell others what to think.

You claim we never had a shot not because of Jose, just the players

You then claim it was because of Jose Man Ure won trophies, not the players.

So basically you are just a Jose whore who doesn't watch football.

Don't bother replying by the way, you've shown you're not worthy of debating with.

Shouldn't have touched this broken soul with a zillion foot barge pole. Said it at the time. We can't say we were not warned from previous at Chelsea and from previous at Man United.

The biggest worry here for me is the following situation.....

Levy realises his Jose mistake but doesn’t want to cough up the money to shoot him. Therefore he sticks with him, but knowing he isn’t a long term solution doesn’t provide any funds to enhance the squad either.

It feels like the perfect storm of events that could take us back 10 years to be honest.

Perhaps it’s a cunning plan by Jose to highlight how poor our squad is and it will put pressure on Levy to do something about it?
