Media Amazon fly-on-the-wall documentary about Spurs

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Wonder how much having Amazon conjoined to us has had an effect on the lads.

Thankful it's coming to an end and they'll be out of our lives.

Stick a camera into virtually any work environment in the world (with the possible exception of documentary/film making) and people will behave differently.

Some can start playing up to the camera, others might have sensitive egos that get bruised easily, the usual candour that happens behind closed doors might evaporate, and so on.

I totally agree. There's no way it's had a positive effect on the morale and chemistry of the team. Jose clearly doesn't like it (last two interviews he's mentioned them in a resigned-to-them-being-there tone).

Does anyone know when they started filming? Or when the decision was made to bring them in?

I'm wondering if Levy knew he was going to get rid of Poch before he signed the deal. I doubt it, but just wondering.

Has anyone bothered watching the Sunderland or Man City ones? I'll be honest, limited interest for me. Far better content to watch.

Got a mate working on it and apparently they’re already working on the final scene.

There’s a boardroom discussion that goes along the lines of...

“Jose’s gone. The players hated him and the football’s been shit.”

“We know what we have to do.”

“We have to bring him back.”

“We should never have let him go.”

“He didn’t have the players.”

“He’s ready to get back into the game.”

“Will you call him Daniel?”

Levy takes out his mobile phone and calls the entry ‘Gaffer’ on his mobile.

There’s a long pause as the phone rings.

We then see shots of former managers at their homes: Poch, Harry, BMJ, AVB, Hoddle and Ossie.

We then see a hand reach into a jacket pocket and take out a mobile with ‘Chairman’ showing on the screen.

“Boss?” says the voice, the face hidden by an incredibly beautiful young woman who has just brought a drink to the chateau poolside for him.

There is a period of silence, interrupted but an occasional “mmm - mmm”.

Only then do we slowly get to see who our returning hero is.

Peck your bags honey - vee are going to Ingland!

The Amazon documentary was commissioned entirely due to Levy's ego. It was a terrible idea and all predicated on Levy's hubris and arrogance - this was also summed up in those stupid adverts on the London underground about the only place to watch CL football.
This is what Levy was thinking when he agreed to the documentary.
- I will look great, showing off the new stadium, which I singlehandedly built
- I will look great, having already won the CL, built the best side in Europe, things can only get better
- Oh and Amazon are gonna pay us some dosh
I for one really hope Amazon do one on Levy, but I have a feeling the editing will be used to portray Poch in negative terms. Levy will have the final say on the edit. If this happens, and Poch is hung out to dry to save Levy's fragile ego, then I for one will be the first one to sign-up for the ENIC OUT aeroplanes.
