A permaban next time would be lovely.
Llorente?Doubt we'll get Wilson. Will likely cost around 20m and his wages are around 100k pw. Can't see us paying those wages to a backup striker.
Yeah, I like him, but if Brentford get promoted there's no chance he gets sold.We should be after Ollie Watkins not Wilson. He was superb tonight. He's just what we need, pace, workate, could play in a 3 with Kane as was a winger but could play as a 9 as well.
Apparently has a release clause of £18m.Yeah, I like him, but if Brentford get promoted there's no chance he gets sold.
Well our last forward who went on loan to millwall turned out ok.
I thinkAirfixx is right, spending a bunch of money but having no real direction in terms of scouting is just basically throwing shit at a wall and hoping it sticks (which is basically what we are doing already but just on a tight budget.)
What we need imo is better scouting so we can identify players that WILL improve us in areas of weakness and when we do identify those players, not compromising with alternatives because they are cheaper that are going to be pointless squad fillers that do nothing for us.
This is why I think Levy needs to stay away from the football side of things and appoint a DOF, Levy can handle running the business but he enjoys the deal too much and it always ends up hurting us on the pitch.
ENIC and Levy both have said in the end of season speech that they want to show ambition on the pitch and bragged about net spend, well it's time for them to show us they really mean it, the way to do that is proper scouting and purchasing targets that will improve us.
With Rashford and Greenwood as backup. England up front look pretty decent. Behind that not so clever...
We didn't even qualify for the last WC, I don't think you'll find too many Yanks throwing shadeAs a nation we should win something, but then England are like spurs when expectations are raised.
