Hazard bailed on us for CL
Willian bailed on us cos he's a snide cunt.

Both have since left.... Time to get over it.
And Barkley
And Arnsesson
And I bet half a dozen others.

Simply put, they're so much richer than us, and with FFP gone, they'll just buy players to stop us having them for shits and giggles.
This City FFP thing will kill our chances. Levy has been waiting for us to build a business model with money to rival these teams only for that ruling to happen basically giving them free reign to do what they like.

They just offer more wages. Simple as that.

Fulham vice-chairman and director of football Tony Khan says the club are not interested in re-signing Ryan Sessegnon on loan from Tottenham.

Sessegnon has been linked with a move back to Fulham after their promotion to the Premier League.

The 20-year-old has struggled for first-team action since joining Spurs last summer but Khan said: “I am not interested. Ryan already played for us in the Premier League and he didn’t do enough to keep us in there. I can’t be in the business of developing other people’s players. I expect the squad to look very similar to the one that got promoted. We won’t spend £100million again

ok Tony mate:mourshock:

Lol..... Seriously? He'd barely played for 18 months and they paid 20m in old money for him..... Since then he's had a dozen decent games for them......

Hardly us being slow on the uptake... What's more, I'm glad we didn't sign him.

Remind me.....?

Its integrity 'may' be dodgy as fuck, but FFP hasn't been binned yet..... Our more immediate concern ought to be lack of stadium revenue.

I’m hearing COVID has cost us and others a lot of money so unless N’Dombele goes there won’t be money for a big signing

Bale and Zlatan a no go, they have tried Bale several times the agent won’t play ball

The back up striker has to be in the 15-20m range and they are only looking for that and full backs

Okay Tony you carny.

I don't really get the jealousy with Chelsea in this window, they are signing some very good players (minus Werner who is great) but it's in their strongest area. If they spent that money on their defensive areas and a new keeper then I would be more worried. They can have all the depth they want in attack, but they can't play them all. I can see big egos clashing as they aren't getting regular minutes, and players like Abraham who had a good season being sold next summer for game time. For all their investment they have built themselves a front 3 on par with us, we have the better defence, better keeper and hopefully with some work get our midfield up to scratch. Højbjerg will be a massive signing for us despite not being glamorous enough for some.

People like to ignore the following facts about Chelsea:

- Had a transfer ban so they couldn't do any transfers
- Sold Hazard and Morata for big money which they now can spend
- Abramovich
- Perhaps allocated money for their postponed stadium renovation is available now as well

Instead of acknowledging these facts, they just like to point out "the difference in ambition" as the sole reason why they buy +50 million pound players and we don't this window

Coming second doesn't wash for their owner .
Dude they have been shitting on us for 2 decades .
They may loose the occasional battle against us but will always win the war.
