Transfers Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Good window for us so far with Hojbjerg, Doherty and Hart filling 3 key positions for us (yup even Hart as an HG 3rd goalkeeper was key for us).

Last real key position for us to fill is striker who can play as an alternative to Kane (and even with him sometimes ?) - which I hope is next, whilst recognising players being on international duty may delay things. But still 2 weeks before the season starts.

After that :

Ndombele - stay or go, may determine who we can afford for :
1. Another defender, probably a centre back who ideally can cover one or both full back positions
2. A creative midfielder

I assume Aurier will leave. Rose will need to make a choice (not in the club's hands) to stay or go. CCV with one year left on his contract may stay (we have room for a club trained CB) or go dependent upon who else comes in.

If we get all that done it will be a very solid performance in a difficult window......and top 4 and even a trophy is definitely possible.

a left back and a striker. That's all.

It would be a huge risk to have Davies as our only left back.
And I don't think Sessegnon is good enough to be PL level player at all.

Please don't buy Kim, I am not trusting someone who came from Chinese super league.

Eriksen being transfer-listed is a complete mess.
Still it seems it was Inter's owners who wanted him, not Conte, as the Rugman proved by hardly ever starting him.
I wonder how much they'll sell him for?
This may have been owners buying cheap to sell at a higher price. But I believe Eriksen now has a far more lucrative salary, and he hasn't played well for quite some time.
I'm curious to see which clubs come in for him and at what transfer fee.

I have to give Levy credit, he is doing great work this window. Doing business early and buying hungry players for good value. Hopefully he can pull off a couple more signings to round out our squad, we need a striker and anything else depends on Lamela/Ndombele leaving.

He did this to himself, hard to feel sympathy...
Did what?

He was one of the best, most creative and productive AMs in the league.
He was offered joke small incremental increases. He rightfully said no cos he knew his worth.
He saw the team around him was going to shit due to severe lack of investment.
Why should he have signed?

The downed tools nonsense is retarded too. He's a technical player whose game is based around passing. He was superb when he had 2 dynamic fullbacks to spread play to & protection from a solid CM pairing. We let the squad die, ended up with relatively shit fullbacks and then had him play deep. What were people expecting? Mazy dribbles? Slide tackles?

Spurs fans should be ashamed of their treatment of Eriksen.

Am I the only one who things Doherty looks a lot like hazard?

Yes, just you, he looks nothing like him
