Shouldn't any up and coming player have the ambition to one day play for Barca or Madrid?

I would really question a player wanting to sign for us if his ambition had always been to play for Rochdale....
No not necessarily we've hired the most successful manager in football, we've been in a CL final and he wants to take us back there again. If we are there competing for trophies, winning trophies for the most part players ambitions will fulfilled.

I think we are going to end up with a Bournemouth striker just don't know which. Wilson is probably the better #9 (and English), but I think King may be more of what Mourinho is looking for and probably compliments Kane better if they play together. Can't say I'd be bothered either way.

I think King counts as homegrown (if that is what you meant by Wilson being English) because he came over to United so early on.

Joshua King is not English, but he counts as homegrown.

Patson Daka, striker from RB Salzburg. 20 mill. That's who we should be buying

Seems like a very promising and talented player but that would be a big risk to bring him in as the primary back-up to Kane. If Kane goes down injured is he ready to step in and start for a long period of play?

Would like the idea of adding him, or a guy like Benrahma, and also adding an experienced EPL striker who we know can step in if needed, even if at a much reduced level than what Kane brings.

King is okay.

Can play outwide. Has played up top on his own and can play as part of a two.

If we could get him for a decent fee, I'd be happy with that. Relatively quick too.

Better than signing Wilson that's for sure.

Neither him nor Wilson seem like ideal fits, although I agree King seems to be an obvious better option than Wilson.

For a cheap option it makes sense but it would be nice to spend some money and bring in a quality back-up/2nd striker.

Aren’t we in for a Kane back-up? Why would King play alongside Kane when we have Son and maybe Bergwijn and Moura who can do the job?

As a late game option when we are down, if those players are injured or need a break, to change up the formation if things aren't working.

How is having a player that can be versatile and give us other options a bad thing?
