Really good for Norwich vs a side from Bundesliga 2., probably Norwich's best player today. Turned the ball over 4/5 times between intercepting and tackling, made 2 very good recovery runs/clearances. Passed the ball well and looked for it often. Very mature with his positioning and reading of the game. Excited to see him kick on this year, should see plenty of game time on today's performance.

Getting good money for kids that aint gonna make it is something the chavs and dippers excel at. ( dippers got 12 million for their 3rd choice keeper a couple of years back, on the back of a years loan to Huddersfield). Its where Pochettinos blind spot was. Fully understand keeping them around if your gonna use them. If not, loan them out.

Dele Alli played 17 times across all groups below the senior squad
Wayne Rooney - 17 games at groups below senior.
When a player has played 50 senior club games and is expected to play for his national senior team, then they have made it.
Even then, it's not guaranteed they will stay there.
Harry Winks has 94 games for us. 94 and I still wouldn't call him someone who should be playing for us.

But that goes both ways. Skipp is 19, soon to be 20. He's played some football by now, and has been sent to a level where you'd like to see something from him. But he's not necessarily shit if he doesn't thrive there. Harry Kane was loaned to Norwich at the same age and did nothing, and Kane wasn't even a particularly late bloomer.

To be fair to Kane - Norwich were in the Prem at the time and he fractured his ankle and we decided to recall him because of it.
However, he was then sent out to Leicester on loan who were in the Championship and could barely make their team. So you're still right.
Yup Kane shared the Leicester bench with Jamie Vardy.
Might also say the Leicester manager wasnt the best at identifying the most talented strikers !
