Yes, with the caveat that Mourinho really did tell Aurier he can be a defensive liability in front of the entire squad.
And like us, Kane, Verts and Dele know it's true.
The fact we saw those words come out of Mourinho's mouth, in that dressing room setting, is compelling and provides a level of insight into what goes on behind closed doors that we are not usually permitted to see.

Du you all get this soundtrack for the blind? "Mourinho walks in to the special room, whips out his schlang for a quick wank, before going out and face the crowd", it's pretty irritating, can't seem to turn it off.

I will be interested to see how much of a Captain's influence Hugo has on the team when he returns from injury in the series. It's difficult imagining him doing the pre-match motivational talk just before kick off.
It was strange enough to hear Harry swearing but Lloris saying 'fucking' with that French accent ? Nah, he wouldn't would he ?
Okay

It 100% is - massive ‘look at me’ piece by Levy and his achievements
don't know what to make of DL, he comes over as someone lacking in any social skills and confidence , wants to be accepted as one of the ' boy's but just can't. Even the casual clothes he wears doesn't look right He looked really happy to be on the pitch with the team at Ajax but even then looked awkward with his son beside him for the photo. Small man. syndrome I find the scenes with him in , really awkward to watch, he wants to be liked and I think he's happy with the way the club is. A commercial success, NFL connection ,concert venue, major tourist attraction, what's not to like

I really found it interesting when Kane in the meeting started talking about players not taking chances and waiting for others to make things happen because they are afraid to get out of position. It was certainly the most frustrating thing about watching those games this year, they all looked scared to do anything, as they all looked scared to say anything when Kane pointed this out.

Side note - I put water on my toothbrush then toothpaste then brush

When Levy starts talking to Poch about his sweater, it was so awkward. Is that cashmere? :levystare: I couldn't tell if he wanted to start rubbing it on his bald head or if he was just doing the math on how much of the money he pays Poch was spent on that. Maybe Levy has no friends and can't seem to figure out why no one wants to be his friend. He reminds me of when I was single trying to flirt with girls at a bar, terrible small talk and awkward silences. I almost feel bad for him (but I think it's because he reminds me of Franklin the Turtle, and I loved those books when I was a kid).

I just wanted to hug him. Why did the bald fella escorting him not even talk?
:mourweird:
I think the stern, taciturn 'handler' is part of the 'sit on the naughty step' management of players who shoot their team in the foot. Alright, it was harsh (esp. considering Rudiger is a cheating cnut and punched Son in the back as he tackled him), but it was still a stupid reaction and he didn't deserve a 'it wasn't your fault' pat on the back. His reaction is understandable, but he knew it was his fault and apologised for it later.

I thought that scene probably happened that way, because Mourinho is directly criticizing the players' mentality as a group for perhaps the first time. Kane pipes up, and the editing suggests Mourinho encourages him to continue.
If the team talk did go down like that then Mourinho would have been delighted that a senior and respected player was prepared to stand up and call on his teammates to stop hiding and take more responsibility.
He's spoken about the players being not just too nice, but too quiet, so Kane speaking out was just what he wanted.
And of course a couple of weeks later we had scenes when Lloris chased Sonny half way round the pitch and into the dressing room which made Mourinho beam with delight in the post-match interview.
I hope Amazon show us what happened once Lloris & Sonny went down the tunnel.
No wonder ITK is suggesting Lloris is getting an extended contract....

Hi everyone! I’m Portuguese and a Benfica’s fan. Almost every day I came to this forum just to read the opinions and discussions about your club. I absolutely love Tottenham, always been my favourite English team. Now that Jose sign for you I didn’t miss a single game. Decide to register after seeing the three episodes of the series at Amazon. Omg that was just incredible, I can’t wait for the next ones. The athmosphere of the club is amazing, love some players at the squad. You have no idea how much I loved the Benfica’s sign of Jan, honestly when I see him, I couldn’t believe my eyes. He is one of my favourite centre backs for the last years, absolute class player. When his contract was over I just hope he could come for us but really never believed it. We needed so much an experienced centre back to pair with the Portuguese best centre back at the moment, Ruben Dias. They will make one of the best duos over the last years for sure, complement each other so well!
I need to tell you guys something. Saw too many people criticising Jose but believe in me in this, if you support him, support the team, I can assure you that you will win titles! And let’s be honest, Tottenham need titles! I loved Pochettino but think he was not so ambitious. How can a team be so many time without winning titles not even try to win an intern cup?
Mourinho will make everything to start winning that, he will transform the mentality of the team and the club from a nice club to an ambitious and winning titles club. Ok, premier league is too difficult for now, Jose also know that. So for sure he will make everything to win the Europa league and the England cups. Ok he is not brilliant in his style of play, I agree. But he knows what is needed to do to win, he knows how to extract the best of each player and use it to win! But please, just give him time! How many time and money Klopp needed to win? How many time and money Guardiola needed to win? Mourinho came with a squad full of injuries, with no confidence and let’s be honest, some bad players (Gazzaniga, Aurier, Davinson, etc) and did the job he could do, just trying to recover them. Let him buy some players to fulfil his ideas, give him time and Tottenham will give the next step for sure.
Talking about the squad, you have to sell some players to buy others. In my opinion should sell Aurier, Ndombele (weak mentality), Davinson or Foyth and Rose. You need a titular left back (Alex Telles will be the perfect fit), maybe one centre back (Boly, Diego Carlos, Upamecano, Umtiti), a defensive midfielder (Danilo Pereira, Matic, Declan Rice) and a sub for Kane (Callum Wilson, Mandzukic, Dembele), that’s just some ideas.
Well, that’s my first post, I will try to give you a perspective from the outside and participate. Sorry for some mistakes in my English.
Btw, Gedson could become a nice RB, or just a box to box, don’t try to make him a winger please, he doesn’t have that capacity. In Benfica now, we would have been at the bench or titular at RB (our RB are awful). Thanks!

And yet some on here, and the wider community, think this "documentary" is compelling and a genuine insight behind the scenes.

As far as genuine reality, this is WWE level staging and story telling.
