Richarlison isn't a great passer, better than Sissoko or Alli, but what he does well is move into open areas well which makes it easier on the midfielders to pass it to rather than Alli who likes to hang out around defenders and doesn't work to get open or get to ball.s
Doucoure and Gomes are lightyears better than guys like Sissoko or Winks when it comes to passing the ball forward. They also aren't scared when being pressed like Sissoko or Winks.
What is the point though when we are not in the running financially.
Jose was totally cringe worthy when he whinged about injuries stopping him playing the team he wanted.

I've said it before but the big signings have to work for a club like ours, they just have to or else it puts us in a hole (like we currently find ourselves in)
They are really not - Gomes is ultimate sideways passer and Doucoure is a variation of Sissoko.
And he is not a World Cup winner for a reason!
Doucoure is a much better variation of Sissoko and Gomes is a much better passer than either Sissoko or Winks.
We saw the major issues we had with those two in a MF last season I am not sure why anyone would want to replicate by replacing one of them with a similarly limited player in PEH this season.
Gonna need this explaining to me....

If we are replacing Jose why are we bringing in an even worse manager?
Although that would be in line with Levy's other transfer business.

I am not sure about Sorloth, obviously had a great season last year and has looked good for Norway but he was so poor for Palace that I have a lot of reservations.
Obviously not a threat for Kane, but has the size Jose seems to want and is young enough that he could certainly improve from his Palace season.
Considering who is talking and what is said this seems to have more legs than some of the other rumours out there.
