Match Europa League Play-Off Round: Tottenham vs Maccabi Haifa - Thursday 1st October

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Dier may not be picked.

His actions last night may have put the skids under his chances. Jose was definitely browned off. Do you think Doherty will swap squad numbers - I see Eric as a number 2.

Oh, to have been a fly on the wall. Do you think he was going in there to tell him not to forget to flush, for a change?

I think we will see a strong side, expecting Toby and Dier and Son and Ndombele to be the ones who get rested and then hopefully back in the team again for Sunday, depending on how Kane is feeling he either starts or is on the bench, would be nice to keep him fresh for United.

Bloody nora these games are coming round thick and fast. I wonder what the training sessions are like. I think normally the day after a game is a recovery session. But now it will have to be a full on tactical rehearsal I guess? Will they do anything on the day of a game? Just no time for decent preparation.

At some stage it'll get to the point where the team picks itself because there'll only be 11 players who haven't run themselves into the ground.

I expect to see José go strong in both this one and the Utd. game on Sunday.

Hopefully doesn't matter

Serge Toby Davinson Davies

Winks Sissoko (I would imagine)

Lamela Dele Bergwijn

Kane

Reggie, NDombele, Lo Celso, Hodgebodge, Doherty all back in for Sunday. Toby will have to have a rest so Dier and Davo at CB.

If Dele doesn't get a look in tomorrow then it's either Covid or he's gone if there's anyone who wants him I reckon.

I know Kane will probably play but as he is currently our only striker I wouldnt start him, the above team surely has enough in it to win and a strong bench just in case?

Very low chance of Aurier, Dier, Sissoko, Gedson starting again. Doherty, Hojbjerg, Winks and Davies will come in. Kane will definitely start, hopefully get a hattrick and be hauled off.

I hope Dele plays and if he does I hope we set up in a 4-4-2...

The prize money includes all the market co-efficients etc - all paid by UEFA out of one large pot of money.

Liverpool got just over 100m for winning CL - so Chelsea got almost 45% of that for winning EL, on a like for like basis of money received from UEFA.

But if you add together the 46m plus sponsorship gains, any additional TV revenues plus match day revenues etc winning EL may well get you closer to 100m

Which is why it is not the 'peanuts' you you were claiming.

It looks like you didn't read the message that you were replying to.
