The mistake was not being braver - or tactically smarter - for the first phase of the game. Start Lo Celso instead of Sissoko for the first 45-60 and try to really capitalise on the phase we are going to dominate the ball, then bring the likes of Sissoko, Davies on for the second phase bus park.
Realistically, what could/should he have done second half - with the players he already had out there - they were the same players who bus parked the last three games, so what changes do you think he should have made and how would they have improved the bus park?
This is just the inevitable consequence of Mou’s tactics, when you grind out wins with two shots on target everyone hails it genius, but when you let shitcunts pump you for 45 minutes and Chuck away wins like West Ham, Newcastle, Palace it doesn’t look so clever
