Match Crystal Palace v. Tottenham Hotspur - Sunday, December 13, 2:15 PM GMT

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We have thrown away points to West Ham, Newcastle and now palace. That is 25% of our games this season.
And Liverpool have thrown away points vs. Brighton, Villa and Everton.

I don't think people on here appreciate how difficult winning games is in the Premier League, barring the bottom 4-5 there are no easy games in this division.

This seasons Champions will have a pts total somewhere in the 80's

That's exactly what I mean. Yes, he had a shit game, but when he did go up, there wasn't a clear understanding between him and the rest of the team. Same applies to a lot of the team.

That's at least in part because we don't spend enough time practicing good combination play higher up the pitch.

That’s all in your head, you do not attend the training sessions.

Anyway everyone has dropped some bad points his season, was only a few weeks ago that Liverpool drew 1-1 at Brighton. The team still has a long way to go to challenge for this title.

thats not an answer that makes any kind of sense

oh - it was you Sammy

as you were

thanks
I’ll explain.
We didn’t park the bus first half.
We went 1-0 up but Palace were at us at will.

People didn’t like it.
Then we parked the bus.
People didn’t like that either.

So maybe they should go and watch how Havertz and Chelsea and Pep and City and Bruno and Utd DRAW their games.

Maybe our rivals get two points for a draw who knows

People will blame Lloris but today the most ineffective part of our display, by a country mile was our front 3.

They offered next to nothing after the first 30 mins. Hugely disappointed in them and second best to the Palace front 3 on the day.

In the grand scheme of things 8 points from 4 very hard games is very good, but 10 points woukd have been so much better.

Our supporters seem to love to slag off our chances the moment something doesn't go our way. Have a little confidence. The league winner this season isn't racking up 100 points.

Mourinho obviously puts the emphasis on protecting the lead but he won’t be happy with the second half. We didn’t play any football until they equalised, we gave so many balls away and so many stupid fouls.

It’s one thing to keep the opponent at arms length but another one to let them have all the play. We didn’t have them under control like we did with Woolwich.

This..... Gotta still leave the oppo in fear of the counter at least.

I don't mind "boring" football if it's working. It was extremely clear it was not working today. The onus is on the manager to recognize that and make changes. The issue is he didn't do it until after it was level.

I would disagree with the Newcastle game. That was a VAR travesty.

In a score draw, one of the teams will concede an equaliser. It happens.

But I think it was a harsh comment from her when we'd only conceded 1 goal in our last 6 matches.

Like when Rachel Riley called us 'bottle jobs' for losing a game when we'd won our previous nine, although that was a more extreme example.

What have you not noticed how we play an ungodly inspired club almost every week? Have you not noticed how oppo keepers have worldies on a consistent basis? Have you not noticed how fortunate our opponents are not to pick up yellow cards that are called when against us?

I'm not saying it's an outright conspiracy, but we seem to inspire an incredible amount of desire to perform in our opponents. My point was we must actually be a genuine force as a club if we can inspire that kind of response in nearly all our opponents.
Sounds like excuses to me.

What's that got to do with it. Newcastle we were 1 up. Didn't finish it. And let in a late goal. So no we haven't in positions like that especially when the other team are all over us for most of the half
So not getting into that situation for 16 games means we didn’t learn?

Killing off games with 38 goals in 16 games mean we didn’t learn a thing?
Because today the keeper fucked up?

Mate we gave them far too much respect and dropped way too deep. We should have pressed more and stopped allowing them free shots from the edge of the box because it was clear what was going to happen.

You can't just concede the centre of the park for 70 minutes and just HOPE they don't create chances from it. It was clearly not working. We should have imposed ourselves more.

It's not melting or crying, we lost two valuable points, Mourinho acted too late.
