Match Crystal Palace v. Tottenham Hotspur - Sunday, December 13, 2:15 PM GMT

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Our supporters seem to love to slag off our chances the moment something doesn't go our way. Have a little confidence. The league winner this season isn't racking up 100 points.
One result doesn't really impact our title or top 4 chances one way or another.

I think the bigger issue is that no one is surprised that the match went like it did today against a side like Palace. That's a much larger concern than two points dropped.

These first games back with fans are really difficult for the opposing team. So much energy in the ground.

Goalkeeping was the difference today. On another day this one ends 0-3 for us.

Would have been nice to win but we'll be at most 2 points behind Liverpool heading to Anfield on Wednesday.
Not true , we showed no desire to create chances from when we scored until i went 1~1 it shows if we had gone for it , it could have been 3 nil
We don’t create those chances if we don’t conceed

And Liverpool have thrown away points vs. Brighton, Villa and Everton.

I don't think people on here appreciate how difficult winning games is in the Premier League, barring the bottom 4-5 there are no easy games in this division.

This seasons Champions will have a pts total somewhere in the 80's

Could even be in the high seventies which will make for a heart attack inducing blanket photo-finish!

People will blame Lloris but today the most ineffective part of our display, by a country mile was out front 3.

They offered nect to nothing after the first 30 mins. Hugely disappointed in them and second best to the Palace front 3 on the day.

In the grand scheme of things 8 points from 4 very hard games is very good, but 10 points woukd have been so much better.
I think that is a little unfair. The problems came from our transition in the middle of the pitch. Passes were slow and not on target, we lost a number of 50-50’s, and turned over possession far too easily under pressure. Son was particularly absent the second half, but he can’t do much when there is no service.

Felt uncomfortable first half with their counter threat so I did prefer the defensive approach 2nd half, and to be fair we almost got there. The major problem for me was that we were simply awful when we knicked the ball, so many missed forward passes, we never really managed a single counter.

As I said, we almost got there so I'm not completely against what Mourinho did today but I do think we struggled to play forward from the back foot and would like to see a bit more show of threat to remind the opposition that they can't commit so many to the attack.

Mate we gave them far too much respect and dropped way too deep. We should have pressed more and stopped allowing them free shots from the edge of the box because it was clear what was going to happen.

You can't just concede the centre of the park for 70 minutes and just HOPE they don't create chances from it. It was clearly not working. We should have imposed ourselves more.

It's not melting or crying, we lost two valuable points, Mourinho acted too late.
It was poor, Jose fucked up and Palace were good.
And?
In the context of the season, I’ll give them a pass once every few weeks when we DRAW

Sounds like excuses to me.
Only if we don't match the intensity being directed at us. And we usually do enough to win, but obviously not enough today, and maybe not enough to win the league.

I don't think you are understanding my point. I think we have a harder uphill battle than most clubs because of the reaction we inspire across the board- oppo teams, fans, refs, pundits, etc. It's a sign of respect but also dangerous because we have to constantly work harder than other teams.

This has always been an issue for him, and we did not do enough to account for it. I remember bringing this up a few weeks ago, and getting abuse from practically everyone on this site.

He did not act at all. To sub Alli and Davies in is nothing special and it did not change anything. Our players slept for too long and that's the problem. Sitting deep was never the big plan.... It's just seems that the team run on autopilot like playing against City, United, Chelsea and so on. They had to concede a goal to wake up. I am sure it's going to be a wake up call like the Newcastle, Everton or West Ham game. Afterwards we played beautiful football. We have to learn from our mistakes and move on to Anfield. I am sure we are going to see a outstanding performance against them as always against the big teams and after playing like trash against small teams.
