Match Crystal Palace v. Tottenham Hotspur - Sunday, December 13, 2:15 PM GMT

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I would disagree with the Newcastle game. That was a VAR travesty.

In a score draw, one of the teams will concede an equaliser. It happens.

But I think it was a harsh comment from her when we'd only conceded 1 goal in our last 6 matches.

Like when Rachel Riley called us 'bottle jobs' for losing a game when we'd won our previous nine, although that was a more extreme example.

But I honestly think Mourinho will be telling the players something very similar. We cannot throw away a lead if we want to win the league. It will be that close.

The league is that tight. Whoever can see out these type of games will probably win it.

Our passing was awful second half. Invited pressure with no real threat from us. He will know where we need to improve. Giving up leads has to end.

The major problem for me was that we were simply awful when we knicked the ball, so many missed forward passes, we never really managed a single counter.
This has been a consistent theme under Mourinho. He just doesn't train ball retention and short passing.

When Rachel Riley is calling us out, you know we're in trouble...

It's the old 99 out of 100 story: a teacher writes 100 sums on the board, but (deliberately) writes one incorrect answer... the students howl at the stupidity of the teacher for getting one wrong... whilst failing to notice that 99 were correct...
that's the problem... we're so quick (s a nation) to chastise and ridicule one mistake, whilst ignoring everything else that is right!

Well my Fifa prediction is still on

wont click “ agree” until Tactical Genius Tactical Genius has his say.
I’m not sure what I’m doing here but during halftime I was irritated knowing Mou would make his usual sub in the 65 min and I wanted Lo Celso at the start of the second. I felt we could not sit on 1 goal seeing how they were upping their game while we remained ball watching missing simple passes.

Mou disappointed big time tonight, he failed to visualize how the game momentum is shifting and expected to somehow get out of it, but not every time it will work.

Poor management tonight Jose. Hopefully he makes up for it with another Mou classic against Liverpool. That second goal was essential but we bottled it 👍🏾

People will blame Lloris but today the most ineffective part of our display, by a country mile was out front 3.

They offered nect to nothing after the first 30 mins. Hugely disappointed in them and second best to the Palace front 3 on the day.

In the grand scheme of things 8 points from 4 very hard games is very good, but 10 points woukd have been so much better.

They put pressure on our back 4, made us bypass the midfield 2, and aim for Kane or a runner. We were not gifted space in behind their second line, where Kane and co pick up a ball and start a counter. Roy set them up well to nulify our strength.

What did this do? Made it a battle of 50/50 balls and we lost out on a lot of those come the last 60 mins or so.

First 25 we were on the front foot. We were linking well and we were utilizing the channels, but then they switched something after the goal and Serge and Sergio did not have as much space on the wings. They forced them back more and our outlet from the back was gone. That was when it became the hopeful ball up to Kane or an on running Son. And when it comes to 50/50s I am not going to bet on Spurs a lot of the times.

Spurs have almost done it one last push an-

I just spat my tea out laughing. Thanks, I needed that.

Frustrating match. Started well and finished well. Could easily have had another goal in both periods. Most disappointing thing was in between, latter stages of H1 and well into H2, when we seemed to get a little sloppy.... and we seemed to invite too much pressure. Still, lots of decent chances and we’re unlucky not to win. Palace are decent so a point there is no bad result. Good to see Dele brought in. Midweek will be interesting! UTS.

This has always been an issue for him, and we did not do enough to account for it. I remember bringing this up a few weeks ago, and getting abuse from practically everyone on this site.
All the space up the wings means he gets wedged in the middle. In hindsight, Vinny might have been a decent call as he can get onto the crosses. However, no reason to mess with something that has worked for the past however-many games.

Come on guys we all know that winning today and against Liverpool would have been too good to be true. We are still at the top and we are always coming back stronger after playing like complete trash. Last season we fought against relegation and now we are not humble enough at the top...

One result doesn't really impact our title or top 4 chances one way or another.

I think the bigger issue is that no one is surprised that the match went like it did today against a side like Palace. That's a much larger concern than two points dropped.
I mean yes it absolutely does?

The title, top four can both be won and lost not only by one loss, draw or win but one GOAL.

That doesn't mean we have to melt down since we're still doing very very well, but every point matters.

Of course but people typing “gutless cunts” when we haven’t lost since the opening day?

And calling us trash etc

Get fucked the lot of them, most were the ones crying their fucking eyes out last November
We obviously should not be saying that, I have no problem in playing like we did against City or Chelsea. However playing like a minnow against a top club in the 3rd round of the FA cup, when it is only Palace is an error.
The last 8 mins proves 3 points were readily available with a more positive approach

Shame on you for resurrecting that tired old cliché!

When we're 25 points ahead with 10 games to go, and still lose the league, then maybe... but dropping 2 points away from home, mid-season, is NOT bottling.
I swear to God, if I hear that fucking lazy phrase one more time....
But well done 'Tactical Genius' for popping up with that nugget of inspired info!
