Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Look I don’t have to look up lists to see what we’ve won. I know what we’ve won. I’m not denigrating Spurs, I’m just pointing out we haven’t won 24 cups. You’re out of your depth here, another new fan. Learn some history.
So apparently you have to know every stat off by heart to be a true Yid huh? You're such an old rotter Joe.

And how's the syrup holding up anyway? I heard you got a new one for chrimbo. You must be looking all fresh and dashing again you handsome devil you.

Just looking back at Mourinho’s road to Europa glory with Man U. Knockout rounds were.
St Etienne
Rostov
Anderlecht
Celts Vigo
Ajax in the final who were nowhere near the Ajax we played 2 yrs later.
Don’t think he is going to get it that easy this time.
We might get away with Granada or similar in next round if we get through. After that Man U Woolwich and Roma May be in with us in semis.
I’ve said it before on here, Mourinhos road to the Europa League that year was so incredibly easy it actually beggared belief.
We will never again see such an easy route to a major trophy again.

That is dipper tier talking points from SSN right there. Spurs didn't begin when Poch took us over.

We have 24 cups and 2 league titles to our name. Top 4 isn't a trophy.
which 24 Cups did you find in our Trophy cabinet. 3 in Europa, 4 League Cups and 8 FA Cups? Charity/Community shield is not really a trophy, even then we only won 7.

You know, in the following season (2017-18) Jose got 2nd in the Premier League - ahead of Poch's Spurs, Klopp's Liverpool and Conte's Chelsea - and got to an FA Cup Final (beating Spurs on the way). Surely we should consider those results when looking at the evolution of his work there? You can't blame it all on luck. Not everything that worked at his time at United was down to luck - not to mention the other 20+ titles in his career.

You can say he was lucky in his first season there, I'd agree with it. But Poch could have been lucky too - he lost to powerful Gent before it happened. It's a cliché, but it's true: you make you own luck. Poch's Spurs lost to Gent in the exact same season Jose won the Europa League with United. The competition had the same "easy" teams Jose beat. And Spurs had a much better team than United.

Yet, it was just another trophyless season for Spurs, while, lucky or not, the fact is that Jose won two titles at United - with Fellaini, Blind, Smalling, Darmian and Valencia all in the first team. We shouldn't underestimate it; if titles were simply a matter of luck, Spurs wouldn't be without one - League Cup, FA Cup, Premier League, Champions League or Europa League title - for more than 13 years.

No definitely not just luck , Spending £390 odd million may have helped him becoming such a legendary hero at Manchester United... Just a thought...

Happy for Mourinho to see out the season in the sense we won’t be able to get anybody else at this time of the season. Not that I think we have a hope in hell, but we are in a final and we are still in the Europa league. I don’t think we have a chance of winning either, but miracles do happen in football and Mourinho tends to be pretty lucky when it comes to trophies. That being said, even if Jose does win a trophy this season, I would still like him to go and be replaced with a fresh young manager. Once the fans go back into the stadium, they won’t put up with this shit and it will inevitably end up incredibly toxic at this club. Mourinho can leave with his head held high if he wins us a trophy, but unless he navigates the spectacular with us in the Top 4, Europa cup and league cup winners, which we all know 100% isn’t happening, I’m happy for him to leave the summer.

Any trophy run has an element of luck to it, but that does not matter. I do not care about anything Mourinho has done pre Spurs. The only thing I judge Mourinho on is that apart from 2-3 games his management has been appalling.

Mourinho is clueless when it comes to anything other than defensive shape.

The second division is what the Championship used to be called.
To win that is a major achievement.
See the Man United trophies site:

I know that, I actually thought everyone did.

When you try to lecture people, at least make sure that what you say is correct. The above isn't their official home page.

This is

As of no big surprise they haven't listed their Division Two (Championship) Trophies. Neither should any club of that size.

LOL. Stay behind for detention.
Both Spurs and Manchester United fans were over the moon when they won the titles. MUFC fans think it was a major achievement even if the club is trying to pretend they were never in Division 2.

I for one celebrated like hell when we qualified for the Champions League, and when we beat Ajax to reach the final. Neither of those gave us a trophy. Both Spurs and MU were over the moon when they won Div 2, but it's still not a major trophy. Even if was an achievement that was major at the time.

Mourinho has won no trophies at Spurs. We may win one that I am not really bothered about but will still got City in the final.

Mourinho should have gone weeks ago but Levy does not have the balls to fire him.

I do not care what Mourinho has done in the past. Solely on what he has done at Spurs he is a terrible manager.

At the moment if we did not have Kane we would be battling it out for relegation with Mourinho. That is the difference between us and Sheffield United with Mourinho’s tactics.

Here's the thing.

Jose's tactic WORKED in the first half. We were going into the break 1-0 up.

- Doherty had cover inside from Bale(?). He should not have shown the player the wing and forced him to turn in.
- Ndombele seemed to switched off and watched as the cross rolled past him.
- Holberg anticipated Ndombele should stop it and was to slow to react.
- Toby allowed the ball to go through his legs.

a) Had Doherty forced the winger to turn inside he wouldn't have been able to cross.
b) Had Ndombele continued to track his runner he would have blocked the cross.
c) Had Holberg anticipated Ndombele wouldn't block the cross he would have intercepted.
d) If Toby had quicker reactions he would have blocked the shot.

Which one of these was Jose's fault? For me, B) and C) are clearly player errors.
Picks the fucking team.
Picks the fucking formation.
Picks the fucking tactics.
Picks the fucking substitutions.
Buys the fucking players.

This + individual errors/lapses = car crash football.

Fuck Jose.
