Whatever you think buster. I’m a hundred million times more eloquent than your childish gruntings.

And I’m a Spurs fan - unlike you. Check the kit on the left.
Shit, a yellow. What utter whiny cunts make up this forum. Please Admin Admin turn this red, and then shut down my account. I’m actually disgusted by some of the people on here.

Thanks.

I don’t agree with everything Simon says but he’s very astute and bang on here!
He is expected to defend the players, to keep the issued internally and solve the issues leading to goals. We are not getting value for the money from him here and the issue is that he tells the world that the players are causing this and it hasn't anything got to do with him and his failings to put an organisation and system into place. It looks bad, and it is bad.

The 2-6 was fantastic. We have had our moments after that of course, but we needed that painful rebuild.
Levy's mistake was to think that he could avoid it by appointing a serial winner. Shame that Mourinho is on his way down as well and can't really help matters.

The re-build hasn't really started and this summer we need to get some serious work done.

I was feeling like this after AVB/Sherwood too and we all remember how we turned it around.
Yes eventually but you’re right it did turnaround and took Poch around 18 months someone quoted!

It is unfortunately and most probably the most likely scenario. I have been privy through work of how they behave and they will want an unrealistic price based on what I know. I just don’t see who pays what they’ll want (even with a manageable stadium debt).

A stadium sponsor will be next on their list I suspect and where that comes from will probably quite likely indicate where a new purchaser will be targeted, if and when they sell up. After that it will be getting a NFL franchise to the stadium on a consistent basis. Only after both those things will they sell up in my opinion.
How have you been involved with them? I presume you mean Enic.

Have you been directly involved with Levy?

It's quite sad but also quite true.

We always used to be linked to the best players. Sometimes even bought the best players, and were often trailblazers in the transfer market..

From world record signing Jimmy Greaves to Klinsmann and Lineker.
Martin Peters. Gazza turning down Utd for us. Ginola, Ossie and Ricky.

Other clubs used to draw their biggest crowd when the mighty Spurs swaggered into town.

Now some of us get abuse from our own for criticising lack lustre signings like Doherty

I can't actually think of one single top drawer player who has signed for us in their prime over the last 20 years. Not one!

Instead we've been reduced to celebrating when we sell our players for record fees and bragging about the strong arm negotiating tactics of our chairman.

Like I said. So sad, yet so true
Was Sissoko in his prime when he joined?

Has he scored from a free kick since?

I seriously doubt it.

You should add Frank Lampard x3 because he beat him with Derby when he was Utd manager.

What you're saying is that, if you "love the club", it's okay for you to insult others who "don't love the club". Never mind the rules, never mind respect, education, etc. If you can't see how absurd this is, I won't try to change your mind.

If it is the post following the Dinamo Zagreb debacle that you are referring to then I guess he could have used less colourful language but many on here would agree with the sentiments contained within

I honestly think that Poch would have been backed (assuming whatever was really going on behind the scenes was workable between them). Since moving into Wembley we've been steadily increasing our wage bill to keep the bigger players. This continued when we moved into the new stadium and we also spent big on the players too and paid the wages to them that other big clubs would have paid had they gone there.

The one thing we never would have done is jump the gun in spending without the money coming in (generated by the stadium).
Agreed.

Another really important point is that the TV money is so big that other clubs have the power to say no when selling their top players.

I was going to click haha because i thought it was a funny post, but if it is true, which it is, it really isn’t funny

I´ll be glad to be here when it doesn´t happen. But we´ll see.

About his quote. Again, I don´t think he is saying how amazing he is/was. I think his answer is: I´m the same manager; if I have top quality players in every position, I can get good results; right now, I don´t have top quality players in every position - therefore, even if I´m the best manager in History, there are limits in relation to what I can do to improve results.

More than blaming the players or calming how good he is, what he is admitting is that a manager does not win anything without a real quality team.

Be free to disagree.
But again I just think that shows him to be a limited manager. Anyone can be successful with the best players, he’s being paid 15 million a year to get a tune out of what he’s got, Poch managed it

He’s failed completely with us

Got some jose buttlickers in here like levy. Any sane Tottenham fan would want him out. To make me hate watching us play takes something special. 15 m a year doing fuck all to improve us, we have gone from a team that could give a game to anyone to one where we may aswell watch paint dry
Honestly this is so true. I remember that little period of time under poch when I thought we could beat anyone we came up against home or away.

I distinctly remember thinking at the time, never as a spurs fan have I felt this way before. And perhaps never again. I remember thinking to myself just enjoy this for all its worth, don't whinge about tactics etc.

Just enjoy the game as a spectacle. And it was my club!
