Manager Jose Mourinho

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think the rate of renewals will be an indicator more than the total amount. There are also a certain % of cancellations every year, so if that's higher than normal it might be a bit of a warning.

The club is bigger than any one man and I would not presume to tell people, especially season ticket holders, how to spend their money or support the club.
Levy will blame that % on Covid

Just giving my opinion

I think he's tied in knots with an awful contract situation. Likely thought Mourinho was a great coach, we have great players and needing to get rid of him at this stage would be unlikely.

Say it costs us 8m extra to sack him now than at the end of the season without European football (no idea if this is the case, just speculation) - it is a tough decision to make.
If levy and whoever else on the board was responsible for appointing washed up has been twat and drawing up said contract then they all need to go as well. Surely if the only reason hasn’t been sacked is because of his contract and nothing to do with footballing reasons then the whole board need to go or they and joe need to pay him off from their own money and bonuses. As been said levy/Enoch have sacked managers for far less. This guy has destroyed the soul of the club by which I mean the fans. He doesn’t even question his own input on how badly things have gone or even how we play!

I try not to think too hard about Levy etc because that's the way things are and it's not going to change anytime soon

The irony is that the ones who desperately want to keep him for his "abilities" are the same ones claiming it's nothing to do with Mourinho, it's the players.

So basically, Mourinho's ability is to have no impact.

And they love him for that.
Think big Sam might even get more of a tune out of our players than the current Buffoon in charge and probably at a fraction of the cost! Exactly what has he extracted out the squad at his disposal. Zilch!

Yeah because a serial winner manager has worked out fine for us...
We just bought in the biggest 'winner' in world football over the last 15 years and look where that's got us.

Oh, yea. Solid logic.

We should just eliminate every manager that has won anything, because one who won stuff failed.
Or should it be that we eliminate anyone who has even won a game as manager? Maybe that would work out even better :D ??

Is there anyone on this forum who actually still wants Jose at this club?

The consensus seems to be that Levy hasn’t sacked him yet because it’ll be cheaper for contractual reasons once it’s a sure thing that we can’t qualify for Champions League.

The whole situation is tragic

think AberdeenYid AberdeenYid is the last one at this point

Apart from the one mourinho fanboy that keeps opening up a new account every week

I dont want Jose at this club any more (dont think he wants to be here any more either) but you have to just look at that and say - what the fuck happened to this *team*. Zero effort. And we wonder why we look shit.

Club needs the rebuild to create success on the pitch like Poch said it did, and Jose isnt the man to do it because his ethos is not the Tottenham ethos, same as it wasnt with Graham and AVB. A lot of players dont give a fuck and it doesnt matter who the manager is. ENIC thought he was the man to do it - and he isnt... well, unless they give him £300M and the entire side is rebuilt as a turgid anti-football side which will kill the relationship between the club and the fans stone dead. And certainly isnt a guarantee of success.

EDIT - at least Rodon actually looks like he wants the ball there in that clip.
