Manager Jose Mourinho

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Mourinho is a grade A cunt and his style of football is somehow worse than his despicable personality, he would summon a grey cloud over this beautiful club and tarnish all that Poch has built. Be careful what you wish for folks, be careful what you wish for.

here are my thoughts on the prospect of Jose joining Spurs way back when. Sorry about the language but I think it is accurate.

Having looked through that thread it seems many, many forum members thought the same, boggles the mind why he was hired in the first place.

I get the feeling AberdeenYid AberdeenYid just likes playing devils advocate :sonpoint:
Nope. It’d be a lot easier to not bother or to go Jose Out.

I’m probably around 90% not wanting to go with yet another managerial change. 8% strangely confident he’ll turn this around. 1% not wanting to admit I’m wrong and another 1% just for pure cuntiness.

I dont want Jose at this club any more (dont think he wants to be here any more either) but you have to just look at that and say - what the fuck happened to this *team*. Zero effort. And we wonder why we look shit.

Club needs the rebuild to create success on the pitch like Poch said it did, and Jose isnt the man to do it because his ethos is not the Tottenham ethos, same as it wasnt with Graham and AVB. A lot of players dont give a fuck and it doesnt matter who the manager is. ENIC thought he was the man to do it - and he isnt... well, unless they give him £300M and the entire side is rebuilt as a turgid anti-football side which will kill the relationship between the club and the fans stone dead. And certainly isnt a guarantee of success.

EDIT - at least Rodon actually looks like he wants the ball there in that clip.
That video really pissed me off. But it’s also made me sympathize with whoever’s job it is to manage them. I wouldn’t do it for free.

Fuck them all bar Kane, Son, & Rodon.

either that or he's had a rock fall on his head recently
Or I just don’t want to come on here posting doom and gloom several times a day for months on end. Honestly have no idea how some of you operate in real life. It must be nigh on impossible to get out of bed each morning.

The only upside I can guarantee will happen if Jose is sacked is that this place won’t be as fucking insufferable as it has been recently.

As if any of us have any influence, any clue what’s going on in the club, or any clue in general.

You say ‘yet another managerial change’ like we’ve been cycling through managers at a Chelsea-esque rate for the past 5 years, but we haven’t though have we?

Jose was a gamble for a quick fix to see if he could capitalize and get a trophy because that’s ‘what he does’ with a squad which Poch painstakingly built.

I understand ultimately why he was hired, but it’s clearly not worked so we move on. He’s not going to build a legacy at Spurs cmon man.

No manager cycling for the last five years no. But this’ll be two bombed out in 18 months. Our two most successful managers since Burkinshaw are Redknapp and Poch (I’m disregarding winning cups here, just overall league success) and they both had a few years each and deservedly so. I’ve honestly no confidence anyone could be a success with some of these players.

“All that Poch has built “!!!

You were doing ok until you said that
I don’t think he built anything and I also think a lot of the pro Jose posts stem from the anti Poch feeling there is on here and other forums!
Had a good two or three seasons but quite rightly sacked in the end!

He literally won the championship last season.

But... you're right that he hasn't got a glittering record of trophies. He hasn't managed a top-N team, either, though (i.e. a team in or around the top of their tier) other than Leeds, who he's done very well with.

I'd be interested in giving him a shot.
Not for me. Fun watch, but short fuse. People want a vision for more than a year or two.

Poch didn't leave his bedroom after the CL final. The players ran to Levy having a cry about him and got him sacked.

They are doing it again it seems.

I actually don't think the problem are the players personally. Spoilt brats half of them. It is the scouting strategy and transfer policy of upper management. It isn't a football club so much as a business and when Jose fucks off the next manager will face the same problems as Poch did.

Perhaps Levy will be more diligent in the contract terms when it comes to sacking the next one. Anything to avoid a painful rebuild I guess. For 3M nicker a year I'd avoid it too.
