Get him for really cheap
or get him on a pre-contract

Either way.. Get him in so we have the options ahead of the 22/23 season.
Lloris is statistically the best GK in the league. No rush to get rid of him imo.

My "rush" is that he is 34 and potentially wants to move on himself. Also, I want to move him a year too early than a year too late.

Right now I am more than happy with his play and would be fine with him as the #1 next year as well, I just think one more year is likely as much as we have with him as #1 keeper so think it would be nice to have a plan of what to do when that changes.

His performance today showed me we don't need to rush.

Lots of other positions more problematic.

If, god forbid, we have to sell Kane either this year or 2022; could he be a player we look to bring in as a source of goals?

Also, why is he not in Portugal national team? Why only the U21s?
He’s a attacking mid. Not a striker. But let’s see how he does until the end of the season. Could be a source of goals in the middle

Portuguese national team is stacked. No room at the first team right now

Not gonna happen but I would love Raphinha from Leeds. For a Brazilian he's settled in brilliantly there and will become a superb player. Can see him at somewhere like Man City or Liverpool in the not too distant future. Tons of ability but also puts in the hard yards.

We aren’t gonna be spending 25M+ on players from the PL, even if Kane goes..... need to get crafty and wheel and deal 3 or 4 of the best Championship players early on otherwise I can see us not making a signing

Yesterday again showed the problems
- CB's not really good enough collectively
- RB awful
- No creative midfielder

CAM , RB , CB at a minimum this summer ! They are essential at this point.

Buendia > Sabitzer

Loved the touch and control at 2:50 in particular ^

MouraThat MouraThat

This guy is a RW but due to his technique can probably fill in at CAM too.

I know this video has many clips from the Championship so it's easy to dismiss... but some of his touches show great foot-eye coordination regardless of the defender.

I like Buendia.

I can't confess to watching an enormous amount of him, but the thing I've always liked is how composed he is. We have way too many headless chickens in our ranks and he has the ability to make space for himself and then calmly make a decision.

No idea how much he would cost.

Norwich quoted Woolwich £40M in January, but in summer transfer window that could probably come down to £35M.

If Norwich are promoted I doubt they will sell as he is there star player. Looked over at their forum and him and Skipp have apparently been their best players according to some of their posters, they are losing Skipp back to us and if they lose this guy they have little hope in the Prem.

I have watched him a few times and he is very good on the ball. Pointless in our team right now as we do t have the ball but if we get a manager who likes a possession based game I would take a punt on him.

Take Skipp back and nab Buendia.

Offer them Winks at a cut price.
I'd be perfectly happy selling/ loaning them some of our deadweight and even subsidising the wages if it meant we could get Buendia. As we've taken Skipp & Buendia, give them Sissoko and Doherty for a bargain price of £13M.

Indeed.
But at some point we have to plan for a team who can do things with the ball.
