Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If Kane wants to go then I will wish him the best , although he isn’t blame free in the fact we haven’t won any trophies , don’t get me wrong he is the best player I have seen at Spurs in my life so far , but I would just love for him to be able to win us a final with a bit of brilliance , but let’s be honest with a sissoko winks midfield would messi even make a difference?
Kane should have told Sissoko to stand off the side of the pitch. It would have been the best decision of the day.

He can only go City to replace Aguero really.

Kans’s 28 next year. Spurs management have made such a colossal fuck up that it’ll be at least 2-3 years before we are back in contention (that’s assuming we get 80% hits on recruitment).

It’s time.

Kane would have bagged a hatrick for City yesterday with all the chances they created and won a trophy

I won't blame him - buck stops with Levycunt

Totally agree. Missed a huge opportunity when we were on the cusp of something special and the prick went that whole summer not signing a single player. Was the beginning of the end since then. I know we got to a CL final, but that papered over the cracks that season because our form in the league was awful. The moment Levy the clown decided to not spend a single penny that summer was when it all went downhill. He is completely to blame for not pushing this club on the field. If he was more bothered about on field success, rather than a pointless Amazon documentary, we might of actually seen some trophies at this club. Scandalous.

Anyone know where I can get a cheap radio... 'cos I'm about to throw mine out the window if I listen to one more minute of TalkSportSellKane FM a moment longer...

....or maybe I switch channels??

If that was a fully fit Harry Kane we watched today then he is not going to be anyone’s choice ahead of Haaland or Mbappe.

I’m more inclined to believe we saw a 50-75% fit Harry Kane which makes me question the whole medical/ fitness department and the structure of the club itself.

Instead of being a sub he plays for 90 and for what purpose??
Laporte should have been worried on a yellow in the second half. Don’t think we ran at him once. Then he scores the winner.

Kane’s performance- Ineffective pressing, slow decision making and zero goal threat. Essentially played as a static midfielder for large parts of the game. Why start him??

A fully fit Kane has not yet shown in a final or Biggest game.

Simple truth.

One of the best strikers in world footbal and in typical spurs fashion under enic just piss him up the wall with nothing to show for it. Who gives a fuck about a shiny new stadium and training facilities when the trophy cabinet is just empty collecting dust. Players want to win things this club lacks the same ambition. If anybody had any issue with the dulux banter it's probably because the truth hurts. He'll get well over 30 league goals in that city side if he moves there.

No shocker to see that he started to have a bit more influence on the game in the 2nd half when we finally had a bit of the ball. He was average yesterday but he wasn't allowed to be anything else by his team-mates. Do people think Lewandowski or Haaland would have offered more yesterday? If so they should give their heads a wobble.

Harry is too good for this Spurs team. For his own sake, and I hope he doesn't, he should follow his head and not his heart.

Fucking pains me looking back at where we were to the mess we're in now. Absolutely criminal the negligence that was shown toward the first-team/squad when just a couple of good additions could've kept us competitive.
We're just totally rudderless and directionless at the moment with owners who will never go that extra step, or risk that extra penny, to really push us onwards.
I feel for Kane as his talents are being wasted and his loyalty being severely tested.
Just depressed with the whole thing today.

Scumbag trying to sell our players.

If it's for Kane to win trophies - why United?
1 league cup in 5 years? Another 4-5 good years might be all he has left in him now. Joining United far from guarantees him a Premier League or Champions League winners medal.

City are the only English side that can guarantee him trophies and at least 1 Premier League title before his career is over.
They might pay him £400k+ per week, but they wont pay us £150mil+

Don't see it happening. Expecting him to be with us next season.

I think he wants to go down as one of the greats of the game. That's greatly enhanced by playing for one of the 'bigger' clubs and winning a trophy. If he went to Liverpool (for example) and won the Champions League, he'd probably go down as the best English centre-forward of all time. He'd have the goals, but he'd have that medal that a lot of the other very best goal-scorers (English) missed out on. As a club, we have probably missed the boat to win something like that, certainly for the time Harry has left at the top of his game anyway.

What makes you think Liverpool will win another Champions League?
They look on the decline to me. VVD won't come back the same player at his age. The rest of their squad needs a pretty significant rebuild in the coming years too. Liverpool looks like a massive gamble if looking for trophies compared with other clubs.. but in England it's only really City that can guarantee the regular silverware.

City look well poised to start winning European Cups. I fear like with their first Premier League title, once the first is under the belt - more will follow.

Them or PSG look the most likely options to me.
Barca, Madrid Juve probably can't afford him.

United seems like a joke suggestion if he really wants to go and win the biggest trophies.

I just used them as an example. In Klopp's time, they have been to 3 European finals, winning one of them. Utd have won the Europa in recent years, Chelsea too. As you say, City will win things. All these clubs are either winning big trophies or are right there competing. Re. Utd, maybe if they sign Kane and another big player, they could get close? Certainly closer than us though, we are miles away from the trophies that a player like Kane wants to compete for.

He’s not moving to guarantee trophies - I suspect he just wants to challenge to win things which is the opposite of ENIC’s primary ambition of frugality with the odd net / balance sheet cup winners cup
