Supporters The Trust have called for the board to resign.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I read the statement as saying that they refuse to meet the Board, but instead insist on meeting the owners.........which are really one and the same, Levy would be leading both meetings and I can't see Joe Lewis wanting to attend. He seemingly leaves every decision up to Levy anyway.
The trust have done good work but they are acting here like poundland 1970’s shop stewards with some of their demands. Regardless of what Levy and co have done and it is wrong you don’t completely reject all lines of communication. Face time with Joe Lewis - don’t make me laugh. It’s as if the Trust really don’t understand the THFC ownership structure.

It’s very unprofessional and doesn’t help. This isn’t the time for Cloake to LARP a union boss to fulfil his far left marxist fantasies.

I like the fella but had a few run ins on Twitter over his ultra-left ramblings.

ESL? It's all the Tories fault.

I have to believe (other than members of the Lewis or Levy family) there is no such being (human or otherwise) as one that can possibly not love a club over its owners as they would rightly be described as 'non' fans.

I'm neither pro or anti the incumbents and from where I'm standing (sitting) whilst we could have worse or better people at the helm, history will no doubt record they will have done good in some aspects and bad in others.

One thing I do know for sure is I was here a long time before they came in and (health permitting) will be here a long time after they've gone. :tobyarm:

However that is the problem.

Lewis should want to attend, it is his majority asset anyway and the biggest in his whole portfolio, which is under threat of severely diminishing due to the recent decisions made.

Hmmmm ... it's about to explode in value as the stadium reopens and annual income goes up 200m post Covid. Not sure where you're coming from? can you explain ...

That’s not 100% confirmed

no CL, reduced PL income and who knows whether it will be full capacity and fully utilised

it won’t be 200M up vs 2019/20 that’s for sure

Not at all in terms of value of the club, which is mainly based on net assets plus future mid-term income/profits which would already include fans being back, what you are doing is mixing up short term income reduction going back to previous levels with value of the club. On the basis of where you are coming from club would be worthless currently as heavy loss-making.

But the potential outlook which means our ongoing value could diminish includes :-

Premier League brand has been diminished over last few weeks, and the weekend just gone.
TV rights are coming up for renewal and have already been offered to the incumbents and rejected at prior levels, one of the players for UK rights, BT Sport has already said will not be renewing.
We are looking a long way away from Champions League and the extra revenue we have previously enjoyed/almost taken for granted, and will probably need to invest heavily to get back there.
Plus the threat of legislation being placed on clubs, which could be the most damaging of all in terms of value.

I think our fanbase are so used to being a tinpot club that we don't demand more from the owners. We want trophies, we want success. Either ENIC can pump the money in to make it happen, or sell to someone that will.

Abramovich made it happen at Chelsea. He cared about actually winning. That's the difference.
No cups & scraping 4th most seasons would do enic & levy nicely. That’s the height of their on pitch ambition.

If he sells up, the buyer will pay off that debt.

The number of billionaires worldwide is increasing pretty rapidly. I think there is something like 3000 billionaires as of 2021. I really don't think a club of Chelsea stature will have anything to worry about, there will always be a mega rich buyer willing to pump money in.
Isn't something like 95% of the wealth is with 5% of the people. Could even be a bit worse than that . People talk as if money is more shared around & their are just a handful of super rich people.

Yeah, and it used to work. But not anymore. I highly doubt players will be itching to come to us at this rate. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if agents put their clients off of a move to Spurs just so they don't have to deal with Levy.
Yeah too much hassle , lowballing & time wasting with levy. Why bother with all that if you have a similar club who don’t do all the levy antics. No wonder we miss out on so many good signings.
