But if this goes through then it would be a DoF decision, something ALL OF US has been calling for!

I'd say having some guy finishing just above relegation to a guy getting to EL Semi-Final and 7th in the league is not a bigger risk at all.

That’s Apples and oranges and you know it. Brighton are a small team, success for them is remaining in the Prem, Roma are hardly a small club. this season Brighton have outplayed Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool and I watched those games, they looked strong in attack and defence but their strikers often fucked up.

Potter wasn’t my first choice but I was quite excited for him to impose his vision with a higher standard of players we could offer him. This appointment feels more like a Martinez, we might attack but our defence will be a shambles.

Yes I know what Brighton have done and I'll say again I wouldn't have a problem if Potter was appointed.

Roma is a basket case club, changing owners, sacking DoF's and managers faster than us.

What I don't get is Potter is being mentioned because of his xG (a reward for his ability to set up a team but not have a top-rated attack at his disposal), I've not watched Roma, so I'm not making a case for Fonceca (I know FUCK ALL about him) but if you rate Potter why the fuck don't you rate the guy that has an even better under stat of xG than Potter (Roma's is one of the best in Europe)!

I don’t rate Potter because of XG. I rate him because he has average players playing Pep style football that is good on the eye, breaking down the opposition while keeping a solid defence, it’s very impressive.

Everyone has wanted a DoF to get Levy away from the football side of things, Is this or is this not what everyone has been saying? Yes or no John?
Most, yes. But for you its so you can divert all blame and responsibility away from Levy. You've already started for fuck sake!

Sell Kane - Blame the DoF

Sign shite - Blame the Dof

Finish bottom half - Blame the DoF

Appoint a cheap shit manager- Blame the DoF

Yes or No Guido?

And just to clarify I have NEVER said Levy should sign a DoF . Not fucking once. For the very reason that Levy and his cultists like you will just use it to deflect.

I want him OUT of my club.

You're already proving me right.

I like to look at underlying numbers, but whereas Brighton's numbers were good enough to finish 5th instead of 16th in the PL, Roma's were good enough for them to finish 6th instead of 7th.

That being said, I sure hope this guy comes out of nowhere and has a us challenging for top 4 and a trophy in his first season. Shit as the appointment might sound, I want him to succeed and make us all eat humble pie.
Brightons numbers were good enough to finish 16th because they finished 16th 🤷‍♂️ hope youre right and fonseca is a success if appointed. I feel he wont get much lee way if things start to go wrong though
