Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

What makes city players world class? Perhaps their coach has something to do with it?
They didn't just buy a whole squad of world class players, he developed a lot of them.
I certainly have no love for city but I don't think pep is overrated

Put Pep in charge of any of the current Premier League squads, how many would he likely win the league with?

City and Chelsea I would say at most.
Put him at United I think he would have a fight for top 2-3.
Put him at Liverpool and I don't think he would exceed what Klopp has done.

It's not like if you gave him the reigns of Spurs, Woolwich, Leicester or something and suddenly they would be title challenging.
The ridiculous squads and resources of City & Chelsea are what wins them trophies.

Sean Dyche couldn’t do what Pep has done with Pep’s players. Pep couldn’t do what Dyche has done with Dyche’s players. Horses for courses.

Wes Brown... The Silva Twins.... Anderson..... Phil Jones... Chris 'MIke' Smalling..... Valencia.... Daren Gibson..... Johnny Evans..... Ji-Sung Park....

All played plenty during the glory days
Fergie did get a hell of a lot out of these types of players.

Wes Brown was part of the back 4 that has the record number of consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League, I think (14 clean sheets was it? Will have to google it). He played right-back and was very solid there, was only at centre half that he looked shit. Gary Neville was injured a lot of that season and Utd ended up winning the league and Champions League double.

And that's my Man Utd trivia done for the day!

Ferguson was incredible but what he got out of players was that they mimicked the Champion mentality they became part of.

They could also hide in the nicest terms behind the greatness that surrounded them.

Where they grew they had role-models of excellence and Ferguson nurtured and demanded that.

It's Why Woolwich and us will struggle to get close and us even more so if we lose Lloris and Kane from our current squad. Woolwich have nothing whatsoever to be examples to emulate for their new and younger players, in my opinion.

Much as I detest what Kane has done and believe he was and has been given too much slack, only he and Lloris have the experience and quality that others can emulate.

Kane's a champion now? lol

He's also a role model? lol

I guess Ndombele has been following Kane's lead
