Once him and Mourinho built a relationship, Mourinho fully trusted him and played him in almost every single PL game. Even got an assist in mourinhos last game for us.

At this stage I think Nuno might be trying to get a reaction from him. He will go nowhere near the team until he's as fit as everyone else. Ndombele has currently chosen to want out instead of get that fire going we all and his past 4 managers have clearly all seen he's just lacking.
If he comes back in 2 months showing some grit then we would've saved an asset losing value. If he doesn't then it's exactly as it is now, an asset losing value who we will struggle to shift without paying some of his wages to another club

I would imagine that Nuno has decided that if Tanguy, a guy who has very dubious fitness and commitment at the best of times, has formally told the club he wants to leave then he can get to fuck.
If he is still with us after the window closes then maybe he will consider him as an option, but right now I'd wager that Nuno is hoping for the news of his departure because he doesn't see a future for him in his team.
