Folks disingenuously want to talk about the pass and avoid the point that Harry can't make that run (never could) and surely wouldn't have been able to get to goal at this point in time. Yes, the pass was great but without Sonny in the team even Pirlo would be useless in that position. You need to come to grips with the waning of his previous athleticism.

First off we aren't talking about any other players we are talking about Harry providing nothing. Other players matter not in this point. A lack of a solution to a problem (at least one that you can conjure or accept) does not mean there isn't a problem. And beyond that your point has no way of being tested or proven so it is of little value. I could just as easily say every player in the world would have made a difference and both those points would have the same merit...nothing.

As I've told you a thousand times Harry Kane carries no intrinsic threat. No top CB would be afraid to face him. He can't run by you, can body you, can't clear to get a shot off, and can't play with a mark, can't press, etc...he is a very dependent player. He is a smart player that can make hay with time and space provided for him and can pick out a pass and make others more dangerous with those passes. But if you want your ST in the MF why not cut out the lumbering middleman and just get a proper MFer to do it?

And beyond that shouldn't greatest striker in 4 generations carry some threat? You can't be out here arguing that a striker is great but then say the team has 0 threat with him on the field. I mean you are both admitting one thing and arguing against it at the same time. Should I just leave you to it?

I dont wanna be the bearer of bad new peeps, but that was awful today, and in 2 games time we all know them gooners are gonna be on the same points as us.
Im hoping for the opposite and we win both games obviously, but a couple of tough games ahead.

Kane could score that goal not sure why we would pretend that he can't.

You brought up other players. You said if we had a player that could do blah blah blah.

You repeating wrong information doesn't matter though. If a CB is not scared to play him they are idiots. Palace had two CB's on him at all times today because they realized he was the only threat, They were scared of him.

When did I say with Kane we had zero threat? I said the opposite. He is the only threat we have.

We were short of personnel but I doubt very much that this will be a one-off, even against the lesser teams.

Davies gave away a ridiculous penalty

Doherty is a weird one. Makes sense to sign him in the Jose set up. But then someone got Regullion and you can’t play both him & Doherty, as it’s turned out neither are especially impressive, but why the fuck did someone sign off on both transfers in the same window when that’s never going to be how Jose played…..

No pretending involved. It is my belief that that play doesn't exist for us at the present because Kane carries no threat in behind.

There were no other players that high or stationary where the CBs could find shade. #EnglishOak

You said we as a team had 0 threat today...yet Kane was the tip of our very flaccid spear. Surely he is at least partially responsible for our lack of threat.
