Here is what Fernando Marcal of Wolves said just ten days ago which probably explains a lot about Spurs current problems:

“Bruno came to the club with a very different work approach to the previous manager. With Bruno, I think he knows how he wants the team to play, and he can pass that on quite clearly to us during training."

The implication would be that Nuno didn't know how he wanted Wolves to play or that he wasn't able to clearly communicate to the team what he wanted.

Nuno's hiring is indicative of what happens when hires are based on relationships and networks as opposed to properly vetting the choice. Paratici knew Nuno was a client of Jorge Mendes. What he appears not to have known, or if he did he didn't care, was what the issues where at his last stop. That's just bad business whether you're running a football club or a small business.

It's not Nuno's fault. Nuno is just Nunoing.

He hasn't changed. This is what Nuno does.

When the bald cunt realised the only manager available to him was Nuno he gave him a caretakers deal. It's not surprising the players don't really respect him. Unprofessional but not surprising.

Didnt Nuno get Wolves to 7th place and Europe Qtr finals?? This level of hatred is shameful

yesterday’s first 45 minutes were unforgivable
The first 45 at home to Chelsea and then wolves in the carabo gave real hope but after yesterday - we are broke and I do t see Nuno fixing it

This has all the hallmarks of the Mourinho sacking where the first Monday after a terrible result would have us all waiting for the news that never came.
Then it happens out of nowhere.

That first half was, tactically, a crime against our club's history. Long balls, not because we were being pressed, but a deliberate ploy to bypass midfield. Incredible. Any coach who can do that isn't right for us.

I don't think our squad is as bad as it has looked. There's a balance to be found. We need more players who can keep the ball and a bit more craft. Less Dele, Moura, more Skipp, Gil. Gio also needs to play, but he has to be central to be effective, not stuck on the flank.
And it wasn’t as though the Scum midfield was any good so nothing to be frightened of but Nuno was for some reason

Had he pressed them like we did the Chavs it might have been different

Shambles and he has to go and quickly

He's had 6 games. If you want to direct your anger somewhere place it in the direction of fraud shit cunt players stealing a living and owners more interested in making money from boxing matches rather than putting trophies in the cabinet. Levy had the chance to sign conte but wasn't interested in stumping up for on field success. Joke club thanks to the owners. I'm ENIC out before nuno out that's for sure.
Definitely ENIC out before Nuno out, and I agree with everything you say. But I always find stuff like this weird - hosting the boxing match required zero capital investment, it didn't impact Spurs at all, and its doubtful Levy even spent very much time on it. We own a venue, sure someone made a call to get the fight into our stadium over Wembley. But hosting other events at the stadium isn't holding Spurs back...I just don't get the angst being directed there.

Me neither, no issue with events at the stadium. It's the only thing ENIC have got right.

It's the football side of the club that is a fucking shambles. I wish people would just forget all the stadium stuff and just focus on the embarrassingly inept decision-making that has seen a top 4 team, CL finalists end up scraping into the ECL playing in front of a half-empty stadium against NS Mura. In 2 years.

You have to go some to get things that fucking wrong.

Even the levy apologists can't dig him out of a hole with this level of incompetence

The fucking bald snake is probably just checking the contract details with lawyers before he pulls the trigger and puts Nuno out of his misery.

He's gone, it's just a matter of when.
If Paratici and Levy admit their error 7 league matches into the season (assuming he's gone next break) that would be shocking and also slightly redeeming in the sense that they can admit they fucked up and just stop delaying the inevitable.

But I don't think it will happen, but I also didn't think Poch would be sacked before Christmas and he was gone 11 matches in, so who knows.
