He had 3 premier league goals and 3 assists that season.

The Premier League in 1999 was far different than it is now, or has been since the turn of the century. Flair players like Ginola were a rarity back then, and therefore helped him to stand out even more. Good as he could be on his day, he wouldn't be winning either of those if he played the game here in present times. But I always felt that Ginola was always more style over substance anyway. Could beat players for fun and score the odd wonder goal, but his final ball was usually lacking. Hence the lack of goals, not just for us but for Newcastle and Villa too.

Yet despite a very poor first half, Spurs were at 3-1 when Kane should have had a penalty which he created and he would have scored. The referee would never give Tottenham a penalty at Woolwich but had he been honest it would have been 3-2 and the gooners would be having kittens.
Just imagine that crap show could have been 3-3 or better only if the ref had done his job instead of being a corrupt cheat! I haven't heard anyone point this out, that Harry Kane could have led Tottenham to one of the great comebacks in EPL history but was denied by corruption/bias/gross incompetance etc.
