Ex-Spurs Player Tanguy Ndombele

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I thought he was great today. Son, Kane and Ndombele are different gravy than the rest, ability wise. If they all play well we'll win more games than we lose, that's for sure. But can he produce that again in our next game instead of once a month?

I know we had a 35 min rest in-between the first and second half basically but him completing 90 mins was very promising also is that his first time doing so?

Him and Skipp where joint MOTM for me both ran the show tonight

Having him at no10, yes indeed.
He played well today, but it's a very different position.

The argument with Tanguy is that he's our best player on the ball and can beat the press, so having him deeper plays to his strengths. The problem is, it hasn't really worked out that way and he's seen less of the ball than we hoped and struggled defensively. Games have passed him by.

Having him further up is interesting and it can certainly work. He'll have to work on holding onto the ball more.

It would also benefit GLC who, conversely, we've probably been playing too far forward.

Had 99 touches today. The more he is on the ball, the better things go for Spurs.

Needs to do the other side of the game though. Nobody is expecting him to constantly get up and down the pitch. But if he gives just an extra 10% effort, and not get knackered so early regularly, then he will be a considerably better player for it and we'll be better off as a side for it too. I don't want him to just be a talented but lazy cunt like Pogba.

Possibly his best performance in a Spurs shirt. Him and Reguilón, who have both looked poor this season, were nice surprises / big positives. Team is taking shape.

One of his best games today. It's got to be said though, that might be the easiest opposition he will face in the league all season.

If we see another good performance from him against West Ham (this goes for the rest of the team really) then we might have a bit of hope!
