Clearly I’m in the minority but Nuno deserves some slack IMO. He’s had a horrible start to life at Spurs, coming in late, far from emphatic signings, Kane debacle, and a disjointed season… but the team is improving and we’ve seen a decent response from a very bad sequence of results. He seems like a decent, calm and level headed guy too. Given the mixed personalities and motivation in the dressing room at the start of the season, it’s going pretty well.
Also it’s the dynamism of ditching the 433 and instead playing a midfield. Also binning peripheral players quickly…

I'm sure we can all argue based on if statements all day but it won't get us anywhere so lets deal with reality shall we.
No more likely than us winning 4, 5 or 6-1..... Even their 2nd was a complete freak; whereas Lucas hit the bar and we had a blatant penalty waved away.
While disappointing for a club that prides itself on a set playing way the pragmatist in me says that this is fair.
This is a results industry and if he doesn't feel that he can play the "Tottenham way" and get results then it is understandable to focus on setting a system that works for the players and produces results.
Ideally you want a manager that can produce both. But football is a results driven industry and if I were in Nuno's shoes and we were not getting results I would not focusing on playing a certain way for the sake of it either.
And the last two league games have looked better style wise either way.
He really does deserve some slack.
Pochs last 19 games(half a season) we got 24 points. Jose took this shite team and in his last 19 we got 25 points. Almost exactly the same shite. And people expect Nuno to change a team that has been failing for over 2 years within a couple of months with the problems around the club.
Mildly interesting sidenote - in Redknapp's, AVB's and Sherwoods last 19 games we got 34 34 and 35 points respectively. In terms of points on the board, AVB and Poch were given decent teams to start off with compared to Jose and Nuno.
And we have a decent point tally for this stage in the season (5 won and 3 lost is not terrible). He deserves the flack for the performances in the three straight 3 goal losses. But since then we are starting to look better so he seems to have learned from it. He's doing decently over all. Just needs to settle on a system and style that gets us the most results.

( its so fucking empty headed its painful to call it one) its Pochettino and his entire staff(gence refusing Fonseca and Nuno more than three additions) return after either winning or failing to bag the ECL for PSG. From what I got told some think it happens THIS summer as theres a strong belife PSG are too unbalanced and that he hates the D.O.F. There's a rumour that they have already sounded out Conte.
