Winks was hotheaded and could have got 2 yellow cards only by arguing with the ref. Very lucky to be on the pitch when the final whistle went. He cares though and wants to win and attack. He was visibly frustrated by the slow goalkicks of Gollini and slow buildup of others.
No no, he was the 'worst player on the pitch' who 'hid from the ball' etc.

You must not have been able to tell by actually being there instead of watching it on a dodgy stream in a country fucking miles away, you also should call him Wanks because that's also what's supposed to happen after he plays and we lose.

Winks was not good last night!! Now what was around last night was muck as well so thats a factor

I also felt physicly ill the whole time in the home end. I'm never never never never doing that again. You have to understand that I'm from Doetinchem (de Graafschap) and my girlfriend is from Nijmegen (NEC). We both hate Vitesse and Vitesse hates us with a passion. Lost all my respect for that club and their fans while I stood there when they were singing "hamas, hamas, all yews on the gas". Confronted a few since it made my blood boil. Typing thing makes me just as angry and dissapointed as yesterday again.

For once their stadium had an athmosphere. Atmosphere was probably the best that stadium had ever been with a home game. It was filled with one time visitors though. They even begged those one time visitor with banners begging them to come next home games.

"While you're here, we're playing Eagles this saturday ..."
Sorry you had a bad experience with those chants, unfortunately every club has its idiots. Just take a look at last weekend's derby against NEC ;) Given your background, I understand your negative perspective towards Vitesse. Can't blame you there, we feel the same towards NEC, however towards de Graafschap you are mistaken, A lot of Vitesse fans (including me) have sympathy towards them.
Athmosphere was fairly good yesterday, although I have experienced better in our stadium. And FYI those banners were not begging for those onetimers to come visit next games, but more as a sarcastic statement.

Anyways, I understand the negativity towards yesterdays Spurs performance. I'd never thought Vitesse would be able to secure a victory. But I'm pretty sure you'll set things straight in London. See you guys there.

Well that was fucking embarassing. We looked clueless against an meh Vitesse side who were all up for it. We had no desire or motivation to make it work. No plan besides hooving it long. It's a shame Gil and Gio have to play with this rubbish around them. Think Gil could become a great player.

Scarlett got bullied and that probably won't do his confidence any good (again). You're basicly playing with 10 if you put him up against someone big and experienced like Bazoer. Men against boy.

Bergwijn isn't dangerous at all, so predictive and riskless. Needs to find his mojo very soon. Probably very low on confidence but should step up against familliar opposition like Vitesse.

Alli. I don't even know what his role is anymore. Every pass that wasn't backwards was a ball that ended up at Vitesses feet. Feels disconnected witht the rest of the team in a tactical way. He would flourish if people made clever runs in behind but we're so predictive.

I was right next to the Spurs fans and got the good old goosebumps hearing 'oh when the spurs' and more so close to me and it felt like betrayal not to join in. Spoke to a few yids outside and that was great. Hope to attend a game in N17 and drink shit loads of pints with you all early next year.

Let's smash them at home.
I didn't watch the match from home as I usually would do... only because something came up and I ended up doing that instead.

However how you have described the players performances is exactly how I imagined they would be.... just goes to show most of them should be kept away from PL matches.

The match means nothing but a kick in the teeth for the travelling support.... bunch of useless cunts on the pitch.

Every Wolves fan I have spoken to says we made a terrible choice. The fact is Nuno was fine when he played teams that attacked Wolves but any team that defended against them they struggled to break down.

The fact is Poch got us to the Champions League final with a lot of these players in the squad hence why Mourinho was desperate to take over at Spurs. The problem we have is that Levy made the decision to sack Poch and not to back him. Then we bought in Mourinho who thought he had a world class squad but we bought him in with a very different coaching set up without the man who ran training for Mourinho and made sure his ideas worked.

Then after Mourinho demoralised the squad we had no idea who to hire and we bounced from one manager to another. Then we hired Nuno out of sheer desperation after every other club said no to him. The fact is Nuno strength lies in organising a compact defence not in creating place pressure or attacking. Then there is the fact he is known to be a very poor man manager who players struggle to like. When Spurs have been successful in recent years it has been under good man managers like Redknap, Jol and Poch. These guys get an extra 20% out of players .
I agree with everything you say. EVERYTHING !
My only area of debate is that this is where we are !
We sacked Poch, biggest mistake in our history, so now we are in a mess.
My point is that changing the manager now is not going to create stability.
Back this guy until PSG sack Poch and we can have him back.
We the undying supporters, led by the property developers, are not to question!

Managed to watch the last 20 minutes. I heard Sutton and Hoddle say that was a period we showed more urgency. I didn't think we were urgent at all, I can't remember a shot. Most of the players on the pitch - for a variety of reasons - are not good enough even for this level. I don't think it is about desire at this point. We should not be playing Scarlett, he is completely out of his depth, we would be better off just playing Dele as a false 9.
You are the lucky one !
Better not to play Dele at all.
This was the ideal chance to give Markandy a game, got 20 mins.

To some extent but many teams change their players. Spam made 6 changes v gent and tonked them.
It’s the attitude, mentality, coaching and lack of motivation/ inspiration. Nuno brings none of that nor instilled any of that in the team. Does anyone really think he goes in at HT and gives dele a rollicking ?
If we were coached to a style and system of play then it would be far easier for the players to adapt. For me it’s the same as under Dino with both our first 11 and back up players just hope for the best that some of our more talented players can pull something out of the bag. Can anyone really say what type of game plan we had yday? It was the same v goons. No press, no urgency , too slow, long punts down field etc.
Yeah they made 6 not 11, Roma made 11 changes and look what happened to them.
