I'd take Solskjaer over Nuno.

That's true. Apparently a Paratici choice as well, which bodes well.

Thats what pisses me off. The Athletic article and I think Ally Gold said the Spurs board wanted Potter or Ten Hag but Paratici came in and wanted Gattuso before going for Nuno.

That’s like wanting Foden or Bellingham up and coming players but then switching to Jonjo Shelvey.

Yeah the problem is there's no point backing hopeless cases for the sake of it. You act like a manager can't make progress with the teams style in 3 months when it's objectively untrue. Tuchel had Chelsea's style changed within weeks.

The problem is the style Nuno wants to implement is shite and confused, so we look shite and confused. Nothing will be 'solved' with a new manager, but we might at least start playing football which doesn't send you in to a coma.

We have changed our style of play.
There is one common denominator that plays the same way though.

Luckily last week it was against Newcastle, so he looked good.

I don't understand why we seemingly weren't/aren't in for Potter. Elite managers demand the type of investment we don't offer. In that case why not a manager with a great Style of play Who has done very well with a los budget team. Seems to me we became almost arrogant with Who we went after.....
Sounds like we expressed an interest after having rejected God knows how many others.

By which time it was too late for Brighton to get a replacement for the coming season.

I imagine that GP, being a decent bloke, didn't want to leave his club in the lurch.

So, Levy the slaphead cunt missed the boat. Probably unwilling to pay the severance until he'd exhausted all the cheaper options.

From what I've heard, Potter won't be interested in coming to us. When he goes, it'll be to a top 4 club. Wouldn't surprise me if that's the sort of release clause he's signed with Bloom.

He'd 100% do a much better job at United than OGS, who has been pretty clueless a lot of the time.
Probably be in the running for City once Pep decides he's had enough.
Ditto LFC and Klopp.
Chavs and Tommy Tuckle.

OGS is losing the fan base if not the players too. I can see Potter going there at the end of the season.

You're watching us play shite, stale possession football from back to front and you're still going to sit there and actually pretend that the only reason it's boring is because of Harry Kane?

So fucking stupid. You must know you're wrong, nobody is this dense.

Got to be honest, I hold Levy and ENIC fully responsible for our overall position but not warming to this fella at all.

He’s too earnest and talks like a management consultant.

And our football is fucking shit. Would much rather see us try five at the back.

To be fair, the majority of people on the board probably aren't old enough to remember life pre-Enic.

Those that are have seen worse than this but it's not much consolation is it?
In my lifetime I’d say 87-88season was Awful. (I was quite young)

Most of the seasons between 97-2005 were utter shit. Aside from the odd flirt with relegation nothing at all happened.

The last few have, bit by bit, started to become 97-05 levels. The only current difference is that we are not 14th (yet)
