Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

SKY already getting ready for the fact it may happen, by showing all of the defeats he had when at Chelski. He hasn't even been announced and they are sticking the knife in.. They must have a Gooner editor on Sky news.
Was JUST thinking that....
Coupled with the quotes he made in 2017 questioning our ambition.... (Bearing in mind he was Chelsea manager at the time, so he would wouldn't he?) and whether he had a point or not... You can SEE what Sky are trying to do... Snidey cunts!

That seems to be how social media will trend this story :nunolol:

Be delighted if they get Conte. Delighted.

think he will be good there doesnt score enough but has a good workrate and speed
That does make sense for Lucas, especially if Conte can improve his cross. And put a CB on his side who has range, like Tanganga, to cover for him if Lucas isn’t getting back far enough.

Suddenly a squad with Kane and Son up front, Lucas and Reg out wide, 3CBs and Hojberg, and then also both Ndombele and Lo celso advancing the ball in the middle (until January) seems like a much more dangerous side than what we’ve been trotting out match after depressing match.

It’s seemed so obvious that with our personal, we should have been playing a 3-5-2. Royal and Reg are both better up front than defending, and Tanganga would probably work well in a 3CB line (or Romero/Dier/Sanchez).

But the big thing is the midfield. Skipp and Hojberg are good defenders, but neither is much for progressing the ball or getting forward, which meant we we’re wasting Kane and Son’s talents because we couldn’t do much besides boot long balls and pray.

Hopefully ,conte goes to the 3-5-2 (or like a 3-4-2-1), but even if he keeps the 4 man back line, we should see more organization, purpose, and start seeing actual runs again in the attacking third.
Interesting on Royal.

All the talk before we purchased him was of an attacking FB, but I’ve seen nothing from him thus far that indicates that.
