Why do you think Conte would play a 3-4-3 instead of his usual 3-5-2?

If we had Raphinha already maybe but I am not sure he would bring him in to move to the the 3-4-3. The only reason he seemed to play that at Chelsea was because of the players he already had.
3-5-2, at least in the PL, seems like the best way to get our best XI on the pitch, but Conte played 3-4-2-1 for most of his time at Chelsea, and actually began with the back 4 he mostly used with Italy as well.

Don’t know what type of pull he’ll have with his old Inter players, but adding Barella and Bastoni to this team would be make us dark horse title contenders next year.

Sir Alex Ferguson, Wenger, Mourinho and Guardiola have all implemented all-encompassing philosophies and tactics that were mightily decisive. But when it comes to making a key change from one defined idea to another during the course of a season, Conte’s 2016/17 alteration is unmatched.
Dream Team.

Conte stands out for not finding the best players for his formation, but finding the best formation for his players.

Conte got a really good tune out of a very young Pogba, and despite initial issues with Eriksen, last season he managed to reintroduce Eriksen, using him as an 8 in the CM3/352.

I think there's a reasonable chance Ndombele might do Ok under Conte - especially if he uses a 352 system.
I think Gil might be someone that Conte can use effectively as a playmaker in a 352 system. He is not quick or tricky enough to be a wide player but is someone who looks to link play and open up defences with clever forward passes in behind defences. I really don't see Ndombele having a future under Conte but I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

With the manager pull of Conte, if Levy does deliver some big spending in next 2 transfer windows, we could have a team that seriously competes for the league:

Doc Doc How many points clear would this team be at the top of PL?

Not sure about all of that list. If he can ever get himself fit i think he'll like Sessegnon. A wing back that can also assist and score. Sanchez solid? Doesnt he like his centre backs good on the ball? Think he'll be one of the first out the door.

Conte doesn't play with a 10. He didn't even play Eriksen until very late in his Inter tenure.
Yeah, Conte at Inter preferred a more deep lying playmaker in Brozovic, who Eriksen started to rotate with.

The Tifo youtube channel suggested using Pierre in that role like how Denmark used him at the world cup, with Ndombele and Lo Celso in front of him and being more attacking.

But that is just assuming that Conte will run the exact same system that he did at Inter and not adapt it.

I like those videos but I think they are wrong about Hjobjerg being able to take on that role. Not sure if they don't watch him for Spurs but he hasn't shown he can play like that at all, the exact opposite actually. I think he fit much more in with the two more advanced MFers.
