As I said, the transfer window isn't open, he's apparently already handed in his transfer request list to Paratici.

Now if he wants to keep the dressing room happy in his own way, and that is to have no favourites and to include Winks, I don't see a problem. Winks is part of the team. like it or not.
But you’re skirting around the issue

If he’s handed a list in, he has no intention of giving certain players a chance and that’s how it should be.

He can keep the dressing happy and then sell them in January, but you’re views aren’t reliant on the window opening.

You believe everyone deserves a new chance. Not a new chance until January, but a chance to be a part of this teams future.

I’m not ok with Davies or Dier putting in a shift and starting games next season.
You might be, I’m not, and if Conte is going to do that, we could have just kept Nuno.

The players should know all about diet and nutrition already.
I remember reading something somewhere about footballers and nutrition and they had to ensure that every player could make an omelette so there was always a - sort of - nutritious and quick option available at home.

I think you’ll be surprised at the lack of knowledge professional athletes (remember, these are 20ish years old and would normally be out on the beers and eating whatever they like) have about nutrition - they burn so many calories in training, it’s only when they have to recover they really look into it.

This is something that I can never get my head around. How as a professional athlete you’re either not being provided a nutritionist/dietitian , or getting one yourself.
I'm sure the club have one but if I'm a player I'd get one myself. I remember Ramos saying how unfit and bad the players diet was, now we revisit the same issue 13 years later, this is basic stuff.

I think one factor is the ego of the modern player. If they've already made it pro by eating like they have, why change? I guess that is the mindset of at least some of them.

Amazingly though we’re only 5points off 4th

That’s why I said yesterday that 4th was doable

Top three will be Chavs Dippers and City

That leaves us, who will improve, fighting it out with Utd Spam Leicester so definitely doable
Top 4, league cup, Europa conference, all doable imo but a long way off atm.

I’m glad Conte seems to be focusing on the fitness side, our team has looked lethargic and unfit for a couple of years now

We have no choice until January but there seems to be a wave of naivety mixed in with the optimism sweeping over the club.

No everyone does not deserve another……another……another……another…….chance.

How many chances does Davies get to show he’s not good enough.
Reggie as much I don’t rate him, deserves a chance to work under Conte.
Davies needs replacing.

Ndombele I’d like to see work under Conte, whether he deserves the chance is questionable, but one things for sure, getting the best out of him will never, ever give Winks a place in our midfield.
There is no point in giving Winks another chance. Skipp yes.

We have Romero and Rodon. They deserve time. Dier and Sanchez do not.
I’d rather invest in Bergwijn than Dele, but I’d happily replace both with Adama

So no, not everyone needs to be here after January.
That's a pretty clueless and knee-jerk post. For all we know Davies', or Dier's, or Winks' strengths are exactly what Conte is looking for and his system is such that it can cover the majority of their weaknesses. Neither I, nor anyone, has got a clue what Conte will do . One thing I can tell with a fair degree of certainty is that Conte's systems require players to follow very specific instructions and Davies, for example, is the kind of player that you can rely on to do just that. You don't need every player on the team to be a world beater, but you do require them to follow your instructions to the tee. That's what makes a team greater than the sum of its parts.

So relax and enjoy the process. We'll find out soon enough who's got it to make a Conte team and who doesn't.

Yes I think the first few days has been a massive eye opener. This squad is toxic and full of under performers, they’ve taken the piss out of 3 coaches, I’d be amazed if Conte tolerated it. And if he does we’re finished as a club.

He won't..... But "finished"; no.

Chavs had this shite with Terry & Co having touch power which bled into Hazard, Fabregas, Costa etc....... Eventually players leave/retire and you get to move on. Far from desirable though.
