He could have put Gil through easily, but he waited until Gil broke sprint to stay onside. He was looking at him and he had the ball at his feet. He could have made the pass, but he chose not to.

But foster doesn’t jump straight up (he’s going into doherty) and doesn’t have clear possession at any point. I don’t think foster dropped it because he never caught it. If a keeper isn’t sure if he can catch it through contact, he’s taught to punch it.
