Eriksen played 90 minutes twice in 17 league games under Conte

Some of his other appearances were 1 minute twice, 2 minutes, 6 minutes, 13 minutes, 18 minutes, 31 minutes

Remember this is in 17 games

I don’t think he learned and adapted really, either that, or Conte just saw him as a sub
Is that the 17 games after he moved in jan to italy? When he was adapting to the league, new team, new manager, new system

I remember Costa coming to the touchline and shouting at Conte, saying: 'Put Cesc on!'

"Conte is not the manager you mess with this and he was pretending not to listen to Costa. Two minutes later he says 'Cesc come', and two minutes after I come on and I provided the assist for Costa to score."

Maybe against Southampton , Kane should have come to Conte and said, put nDombele on. :contelol:

So in the summer he adapted and became a fairly important part of a title winning team
That season he played 90 minutes once in 26 league matches

He was an unused sub or not in the squad 11 times
He had no injuries

He played under an hour 13 times of those 26 games

He played 5 minutes once, 20 minutes twice and 1 minute once

He scored 3 goals and made 0 assists

Keep going though you’re doing great

He's one of the most naturally gifted footballers I've ever seen and I find him extremely entertaining to watch. Football is entertainment, and when Tanguy is on, there's nobody I enjoy watching more.
Really? Youve ever seen?
Hes on about twice a year so you mustnt enjoy much football.
Personally i prefer honest effort to watching a game hoping this lad will bother his hole to do something once every couple of months.
No team carrys a player like him anymore

So played an important part in a title winning team.
And compare him to ndombellys stats for us

No he didn’t play an important part really, they’d have won the league without him.

They win the title by 11pts.
Eriksen directly contributed to 1pt by scoring in a 1-1 draw.

What’s Ndombele got to do with you being wrong about how much Conte used Eriksen?
In your opinion wrong but thats what counts eh 👍
Plus i replied to something that someone had put up about eriksen and conte and you jumped in on that so technically you tell me

Very interesting insights- cheers.

It's a shame if Bayern are after Schlotterbeck, we will have to move quickly or offer higher wages to stand a chance there I guess.
I completely agree that I have my doubts about both Brozovic and Kessie and would prefer Milenkovic Savic. United are linked with him, but hopefully they are too busy prioritising Rice etc.

As for your CF analysis, who do you think we should get if those 3 are unviable for various reasons? Ben Brereton Diaz from Championship perhaps?
I am not saying Schlottenbeck all is set for Bayern but the problem for Bayern is that their best CB, Niklas Süle, has so far refused to renew his contract which ends in summer 2022, Dayot Upamecano hasn't played so well in his first season. Bayern do have a good LCB in Lucas Hernandez, but Bayer have a knack for wanting top German talent. His contract ends in 2023.
Ben Brereton for sure could be a good Kane understudy. I am wondering if Luka Jović also could do a job as Kane's understudy. 2 seasons ago he was the big deal when he went to Real M. for €60m.

Interestingly, here is a Spurs fan explaining why Spurs should sign him:
