Clearly we can't bring in somebody to play in the 'number 10' position until we have outgoings. Right now, we have Moura, All, Lo Celso, Ndombele all competing for the same position.

Luis Suarez? Dybala? Origi? - all out of contract in the summer, but none solve our issue of having no 'creators' in the squad.

It’s ok to just admit you thought he played more

Conte is known to limit the freedom and creativity of flair players, as documented by Fabregas and Eriksen itself

You’re answer to that is Fabgregas is a liar and that Eriksen was pivotal to Inters season which has been dismantled.

It could be an explanation as to why an Ndombele described as being in the best shape of his career is being dumped for Winks. Because apparently freedom on the field comes second to being an obedient but limited player.

For me, that’s not really ideal, as the club yet again talked about the values of the Tottenham Way, yet are implementing a playing system that would have seen Gazza and Ginola benched, for cloggers that need a manager to tell them where to stand and pass 400 times a game.

Conte will bring success, and our football will and has improved.

But there is scope for reservations for those of us who aren’t scared to think for ourselves as don’t live by blind hero worship.

C. No team in premier carries an ndombele type. Liverpool, City, Chelsea would have had him out the door after his first training session.
D. Blind hero worship?? Because i wont criticise a manager who wont play the worst signing in the clubs history

A. Eriksen contributed to 1pt in a season they won the title by 11.

That’s not an important role. You know it isn’t, you just can’t admit that you thought he played more than he did.

B. It matters little, just shows that he’s making an effort with his fitness. Maybe not being dropped for Winks would motivate him further

C. Conjecture. There’s also that little point about those teams being light years ahead of us in central midfield and not having to rely on Winks.

D. No, because you think Winks is shit but are doing everything in your power to justify the manager calling him a very very good player and not transfer listing him

You’ve also called Fabregas a liar because you don’t like the notion that Conte might be restricting flare players from performing naturally.

Defying logic and dismissing accounts from actual footballers, Eriksen included, is hero worship.
Your view was that Eriksens statement was void because he applied himself and adapted for Conte.
You didn’t know he had only played about 3 full Serie A games in 43 though.
That’s why you look stupid claiming he played an important role and implied Conte had used him in an important role once he’d adapted his football.

He should be the one making it a club with serious intentions instead of publicly declaring he doesn’t know where our record signing plays, claiming Dier could be world class (IF he learns how to defend) and that Winks is a reliable and very good player.

Sorry, but he should be wielding that axe and dropping heads on Levys desk, instead of peddling the “squad is good enough” mantra.
