The obvious takeaway from the Southampton game a few day ago and today's game against Watford is we need to get a couple of players who can help us break down teams who sit back and defend - maybe a creative midfielder, a good right wing back and even another forward so as to rotate Son/Kane/Moura as we cannot expect them to play every game and not be tired.

No he would cover Lucas/Son’s role. You assume the RWB would be Adama as his contract is close where as Lamptey is longer.
Can Kulusevski play up front in a 3-5-2? I thought that was the direction we were trying to go. I think of him as an out-and-out winger, which makes me think a wingback transformation is possible.

Traore is a good and unique player who I rate....but man I am loathe to spend a bunch of money in a way that doesn't elevate our sorely lacking technical ball-playing which is not his game.

Becoming clearer by the game what we need. Someone on the left of a 3 that can bring the ball out and play, a right wing back that has creativity, some invention and goals in midfield or part of the forward 3 . The situation can also be helped by swapping Romero for Sanchez, Sess for Requilon and Lo Celso for Hojbjerg.
