StubHub

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Well we will see , it the only ticket i wouldnt sell .
Most people want to sit together, that would be a problem for tourist. If im honest, I could make money from stub hub as I have 3 season tickets all next to each other.

This is the problem. What's gonna stop people just hoarding them and paying off the cost with a few overpriced sales? No one will return their season ticket.

Is anyone really going to take a gamble in paying £1,000 for a ST up front, if they were considering giving it up in the hope it may make a small profit over the course of a season? Can't see it.

On one hand we have 42,000 on the ST waiting list according to Levy's statement this morning and how many give them up every season? About 200? And most of those because they've passed on?

I don't get why people are so het up. The tickets for Swansea were freely available at face value, if people can't be bothered to buy from the ticket office, why worry if for some reason they prefer to pay over the odds on Stub Hub.

No-one's forcing people to buy these tickets. Why anyone wants to pay silly money to sit amongst the load of whingers and moaners that will be out in force against Swansea, now that does worry me, but each to their own

If you want to blame someone, how about our owners who in 13 years haven't added any significant amount of capacity to our ground. Oh I'm sorry I forgot, they're doing a great job, everyone keeps telling me this, so it must be true

IF we ever get this new stadium the 'problem' will disappear for the most part, as we won't be selling out the likes of Swansea without cutting prices considerably, IMHO.

Incidentally I would pay over face value for a game I really wanted to see, and I wouldn't whinge about it. But until we get a new stadium, I can't see me wanting to go to the Lane again. It's a horrible place for the most part these days. 1882 is a fantastic exception and I can't praise their efforts enough.

Just got an email from the club. They never did this sort of promotion with Ticket Exchange did they?!

Can't make the Swansea match? List your seat on StubHub
StubHub, the Official Ticket Resale Marketplace of Tottenham Hotspur, is proud to provide a safe and easy way for you to sell your seat for home matches* you can’t attend.
On StubHub:
  • You can resell your seat for home matches* you cannot attend, at a price you set.
  • Other Spurs supporters can purchase these tickets and watch matches they may otherwise have missed.
  • It's free to list your seat and you only pay a fee when it sells.
  • You set your price and can adjust it at any time before your seat sells.
  • You can remove your listing before it sells and your ticket will remain valid for the game.
  • No dealing directly with buyers — that's StubHub's job.
  • The Club will not dictate pricing and StubHub never sells tickets or sets any prices themselves. Listing your spare seat for sale on StubHub.co.uk/spurs is easy, and you’ll be walked through each step of the process.
  • Every seat is backed by the StubHub FanProtect™ Guarantee

@ greaves357 - I'll tell you the reason I get fucked off with chancers charging 130 odd quid for Swansea at home.

There are people I have met from this very site, who have gone to the effort of applying for Away Days for me, paying for x2 tickets out of their own money, then waiting outside the Lane for me to hand over the tickets. How much do they charge me? Face Value.

Can you at least understand why some tit who's just got given a ticket on his ST anyway, taken 5 minutes to upload to StubHub, and then charges 4 times Face Value would fuck me off?

I have a ST, and I can't now make the Swansea game. So I am looking to exchange them. TicketExchange seems to be gone completely, but IIRC that only gave back 75% or something. So looks like I will have to use StubHub. The price is £42 but I will pay a sellers fee so I have to offer at £46.20 just to make face value back.

Anyway, StubHub site is shiter than shite, you can't reset password from an android phone, for instance. Click Register from the Sell page and it just refreshes in IE9 or IE8, doesnt go to a register page at all. Pile of crap, really is.

I'll be honest, I don't understand your argument Ron. The Swansea game was on general sale why should I worry that people who didn't bother to buy off the club now want to pay silly money, if they do, to Stub Hub, the ticket holder (and some to the club & whoever?)

I just don't see the problem. It's market forces. For the games that don't go on general sale, then if you want a ticket and don't get one you'll have to pay over the odds, what's the worry.

If you don't want to pay the extra, don't go. I haven't been to a Spurs Woolwich game for years cos it's hard to get a ticket (this was when I used to go to the Lane), did I whinge and moan about it, no.

What I whinged and moaned about, and continue to do so is ENICs failure to extend our capacity which would solve most/all of the problem. Yet most people seem to think that ENIC are doing great, so why are they moaning about our beloved owners then, if they're so great? Oh that's right, cos they ain't. As I keep saying, they're no better than okay to good, great they ain't.

Incidentally, if some of the moany whinging STHs sell their tickets to people who actually want to go to the game the atmosphere might improve at the Lane. But I won't be holding my breath.:cautious:

Use HotspurTickets on Twitter. They're an unofficial ticket exchange where face value is the only value that's allowed.
