but as someone pointed out earlier, whats the point? where is this club heading? even leicester has 2 major trophy in the last 7-8 years. what do we need to do to finally start winning things? surely getting conte has to be enic's last throw of the dice, they dont back him with a major overhaul of elite players, he is off and this club will truly be pegged back by 3-5 years (which ultimately doesnt sever enic's purpose in terms of valuation). i can only hope that they will come through this time.
We just need to get Mr Dilly Ding Dilly Dong in....

Not him, the other one!

...or Shark Face Rodgers! 'cos they WIN things!

Unlike those serial losers Jose & Conte!

We broke one.... We're well on the way to breaking the other!

Most people predicted a slaughter even before the line-up came out... Thankfully that didn't come to pass.

Always stings like fuck losing to those cunts though. :(

No faith in seeing Romero back yet, but praise buddah we can get the remainder of the 5 omitted lads staring at the weekend.

Thank fuck for the new episode of Book Of Boba Fett tonight.
Our squad depth is pathetic

You must be able to see that mate

When VAR made the penalty a free kick, Rudiger should have been sent off. Rudiger did a deliberate foul and was last man. It should either be a penalty and a yellow card or a free kick and a red.
FA and refs know this but they are bought by Russian money (media also like this Russian but hate Russians).
Where was VAR in the first match when Sarr deliberately elbowed England captain Harry Kane in the cheekbone??
Spurs played not at their best but Chelsea cheated coz the FA are bought and I noticed Sky's commentators never mentioned Rudiger or Sarr getting red cards at any time.

Those two incidents would have made a big difference.
Last man isn't a red is it, stopping a goal scoring opportunity is a red.

Have to be honest. 18 months deal for a manager is like a temp job at work. Spurs have been going since 1882 so weve managed upto now as a club. Lets see what pans out under conte. But we will manage like we always do.
Manage what? To be mediocre again like we have been in the past 30 years? 2 fucking League Cups since 1991. For a club of our size, that should be a jail sentence. It's been enough. Enough underestimating what a big club we are. People pay the most expensive tickets in the ENTIRE WORLD to watch Spurs at home. Our revenues are top notch in Asia. Where the fuck is the ambition?

12th Jan..... Not denied the need for players once this window, mate. Didn't above either.

Just very little to say about the performance. Already said above.... They didn't have to work hard cos of the gifts we gave.

I love you Gobbygonk

You are as mad as a sack of cats, but you are Spurs through and through

and I would listen to your podcasts (if you did them) every day - rather than listen to the whining, moaning, carping and complaining shitheads that find fault in every player, manager and club owner that play for - or represent - Spurs!

Only to add I feared it would get ugly after the first goal tonight... Thankfully it didn't.

The problem is - that the morons that support them - don't understand that they have been buying success with money they didn't (originally) earn in the first place
Now they are earning the success with the players they have - and now are winning with the revenue they earn
- is nothing more than living off immoral earnings.

Ehhh… also known as “a succesful investment” in other terms. :deledoubt:
I can understand why you wouldn’t want Spurs to follow that example, I guess! :avbcringe:

Only in the area. Double jeopardy

Sending-Off Offences

A player is sent off and shown the red card if he commits any of the following offences:

  • S1 is guilty of serious foul play
  • S2 is guilty of violent conduct
  • S3 spits at an opponent or any other person
  • S4 denies the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within his own penalty area)
  • S5 denies an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent moving towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a penalty kick
  • S6 uses offensive, insulting or abusive language
  • S7 receives a second blue/yellow card in the same match
If play is stopped for a player to be sent from the playing area without having committed any additional infringement of the Laws, the game is restarted by an indirect free kick, awarded to the opposing team, to be taken at the place where the infringement occurred. However, if the offence is committed in the penalty area, the indirect free kick is taken from the penalty area line at the place nearest to where the infringement occurred.

And there's many Doctors out there who blame something else. Funny if you read up on these heart issues most victims are not (As some pit it), Anti-Vaxxers.
The illnesses occurring in the stands recently probably have nothing to do with either the virus or the vaccine. Why do you think there have been medics at all large functions since time immemorial? Take a large group of excitable people and you're probably going to see some adverse reactions that can be due to a multitude of reasons.
