Of course he does. I'm sure like most players he just wants to play. This might be a drop in the ocean compared to other decisions but it just seems indicative of the bumbling idiots we have in charge. Whether its buying, trying to sell or loaning there isnt much they do that makes sense. Perhaps people would stop blaming the club for everything if there was some semblance of a plan.

Of course he does what?

Yeah look we have clowns making clown decisions but your arguments here are equally clownish...if you take a step back for a second you'll realise that not everything is up to the club, players need to agree to loan moves.

It's hardly against the realms of possibility that a young kid who spent his whole life in Spain who came to a different country and isn't getting game time most probably wants to return back home.

Because its united and they dont care about Spurs. Especially if the price is right. Utd, Chelsea, city, liverpool are always selling to eachother. Clubs like Utd and Chelsea have always operated like this. They dont give a shit who they sell to. Mata, sterling, torres, RVP, Sanchez, Tevez etc

I think Utd would have sold for a maximum 30M. Hes literally rotting on their bench. It would have been actual shrewd business

Take.a.step.back.and.read.the.link.i.just.posted.

Continually saying Utd don't care about Spurs will not make it any more true because its not and if we finished top 4 at the expense of Utd with VDB playing a blinder do you know how stupid they'd look.

I am not thrilled by the prospect of signing Kulusevski either... but at least I am ready to give him a chance. I find it perplexing that so many have started to mock him even before he's even signed rather than be ready to wait and see...as if "you" want him to be a flop so you can tell the world, "I told you so!"

He looks like nothing more than a right sided nacer chadli to me.

We used to make a splash many years ago. Ardilles & Villa we’re big news. Waddle too and others. Not for a long time now though. Depressing really

Greaves, Chivere, Peters, Lineker, Gazza etc etc. We were once very much a money club in the days before mega rich oil clubs.

Pal, I'm not against loans.

But them loans with an obligation to buy, that's like buying the player really, but you only cough up the money later. So it's still risky.

That's why an option yo buy is much better, much safer...especially for someone like Kulusevski, who's flopped badly at Juve

If I wasn't bald, I'd pull my hair out at how easily the words option and obligation have become interchangeable in the last few years.

So you honestly think he will learn the physical demands going back to play football where he started. Did you not witness what loans did for Kane or Skipp, they went out as boys and came back as men. Gil is young, if we are loaning him out then it must help his development for us, if we are looking to sell him I understand but I had thought he was a long term player.

It is a cliche to say playing in the Championship is a prerequisite to being a competent PL player.

Plenty of players from abroad (including Spain) come to PL and have successful careers.

I'm also sure there are plenty of players that went to the Championship and are still shit

The most important thing is he plays first team football consistently. His attitude and ability will ultimately determine his success

How times have changed . Imagine a player telling Clough or SAF “ Nah it’s okay , I don’t fancy the move”

They aren't interchangeable. They're two separate things. Some might mistake one for the other, but I don't.

Point is, let's get Kulu on loan with an option to buy. That way, if he's shite with us for 4-5 months, we can just cut our losses in the summer and target someone else. All we'll have spent is his wages while he was on loan here.

Yes I agree he needs to play first team football. But he also need to adapt to playing in this country, it’s often difficult for even elite players to do so and it’s not just the football, it’s the culture. sending him back to his comfort zone then afterwards needing him to come back and adapt again doesn’t seem the best use of his time unless we want to sell him back to a Spanish club. Going somewhere like Norwich and getting stuck into a regulation battle would be far more likely to make him ready for us.

Just popped in to see if there was any exciting news...

oh, as you were.....

Another Levy special, going for a player we have very little chance of getting, especially this close to deadline day.

Villa want Betancur to provide cover for D Luiz, so why oh why would they sell the latter to us? Especially when they've not yet managed to secure that cover...and would then need 2 players, not just one. And to sell him to a team they hope to compete with for top 4 from next season.

Yeah, sounds real legit.
