This has always been the crux for me..... If it wasn't for the animosity and piss-taking that's brought to these pages; I wouldn't even know about any of those clowns.
Yeah, as I added above, Castles reckoned Levy/Paratici were really fucked off with Mendes, who they think did just that, basically used us to get Liverpool to pony up now as opposed to waiting.
They even used our 15m add on package to get Liverpool to make theirs much easier to achieve, meaning they will almost certainly have to pay the 60m (Eur) total.
Bottom line, both us and Liverpool got played a bit by the looks of things.
I for one would not be surprised one iota if we were left with more egg on our face later today.
It's a really bad 5 years as far as transfers have been for this club. By far the worst I have ever known.

Why do I get the feeling that mentioning GDPR on a forum is like mentioning 'jury nullification' when you really don't want to serve on a court trial?Same username… I just don’t like folks getting ripped off and misled. The business model seems to be built around fake ITK, some real ITK, aggregation of other sources and monetisation of that process.
I got banned a long time ago, which was a shock as I barely posted anything so I don’t know what got me banned! Of course I asked but then there was no reply.
In the end I used a GDPR DSAR to force Rob to speak to me and give me a timeline by which he would delete my details. The ICO brokered a conversation, I think I instigated one of the first GDPR enforcements in the UK at SCThis was partly professional curiosity and partly fuck you Rob.
Rob insisted he would retain my IP address indefinitely to enforce my ban. I always suspected he retained a lot more than just an IP address… He’s not as clever as he thinks he is, but he doesn’t need to know what I know…
I did post a guide on how I did it on here or another forum, can’t remember. That post got taken down so I guess there is some solidarity between mods
I had a good laugh when someone mentioned GDPR on a later SC thread and Rob had a panicky meltdown because he thought I was back. If he has nothing to hide, he would not need to worry, and that told me a lot about him.
Truth is I prefer it on TFC and lurk quietly on many forums, and don’t really have a grudge against anyone. I do still object to people being misled and ripped off, but having dealt with Rob personally I have no desire to do so again. If folks choose to send him money and believe what he writes, that’s up to them.
