I'm not saying that I would be against it, but signing two wingers in the January window and no RWB/Striker/LCB (the positions we really need), it would be so Spursy. Anyhow, go for it!

This reeks of a nelson and Saha January window. Two players to help patch some holes with incredibly middling quality, to hopefully get top 4. Then in theory invest in the summer.

I suspect we will have a similar outcome as that year. Barely miss top 4 after suffering injuries to a couple key players who don't have reasonable backups because we're too cheap. Then unable to get anyone of quality in the summer without CL. And watch our quality players leave too. Along with our manager.

It's incredible if it wasn't also so sad.
Comparing two young international players from juventus with tow past their sell by date is frankly absurd.

Why are you acting like youve won something? Theres no trophy for buying 2 Juventus reserves. On here crowing with confidence like Levy himself has just won us the league because weve bought 2 juventus BOGOF from B&M.

Couldnt even find players from another club other than Paracitis old club, the desperation. the guy must be rubbing his hands.

Meanwhile, Conte is blocking moves for our own reserves now that weve gone from having shit players, to no fucking players.

Remember its Conte that needs convincing, not me. But you bathe in the Stockholm Syndrome of these poor supporters. You sold your soul a long time ago.

........All you had to say was "No, I couldn't make the protests cos I was washing my hair".

(TBF, nice rant though! :mourthumb: )

They do- but they'll be a threat regardless due to the number of match winners in their team. Especially Ronaldo.

Saka Martinelli Smith Rowe have all got lots of goals and assists this season.

Woolwich's squad is a lot stronger than ours- but we have a better manager which is our only hope.

If Utd were such a threat they'd be comfortably in the top 4 right now, they aren't and there's a reason for that, if they have so many match winners why have they dropped so many points?

Woolwich need a striker, why do you think they were trying to chase one all window, they were prepared to pay £70m for Vlahovic, that tells me they're in desperate need.

Their squad maybe stronger but like you said we have a much better coach.

Actually looking at it Woolwich's squad isn't all that either, I'm not sure where this narrative is coming from?

Woolwich have shipped out Auba, AMN, Chambers, Mari, Bolagun, and Kolasinac while bringing in no one. They have only Laca and Nkethiah (who is worse than Scarlett) up top. And in the midfield it’s Xhaka and Partey backed up by El Neny and that Belgian kid they bought who is very green.

United have sent out Martial, Van de Beek, and Greenwood certainly won’t be playing.

Could we have done more? Probably. But we’re in a better position vis a vis our top 4 rivals than at the start of the window. And I can literally never remember a time that happened.

We’ve improved more than anyone else we’re competing with for Top 4. I wish one or two more things had broke our way, shame to lose out on Diaz and Traore but it’s Barca and Liverpool.

We’ve done alright, we’re better on Feb 1 than we were on Jan 1 and a much less bloated squad. It could be better, but it’s not bad.

We are different than what we were on January 1st, very debatable if we are better.
