Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think by and large the window was ok, shifters deadwood out and got a couple of good players in. Definitely could’ve done with a new RWB now though so I hope whoever we line up in the summer is decent!

I’m hungover btw so don’t argue with me you fucks!

So what percentage successful signing rate vs unique mentions is that? How did you compile that list?

Right, we have cleared out some of the dead wood, brought a couple in and are sitting just outside the CL places with either 1,2,3 or 4 games in hand on those above us.

Lets get on with it as fans, because that's what Conte will be doing.

The most important thing in this tw for me, was to show backing for Conte. I had my doubts but taking a massive hit, and admitting you were wrong on some of your prized assets is backing. I would have liked a higher caliber (on paper) of players and a couple more but these two lads will inject new energy into the team.

If three managers have failed to bring the best out of certain players, and their attitude wasn’t productive then it’s best to move them on. There are no guarantees with any player but you can guarantee those poor players staying wouldn’t be any help

That's BS and you know it.

You know you could have just let this whole argument go if you weren't so stubborn.

It's okay to be wrong you know mate, it doesn't hurt to admit it.
Opinions. Who's the stubborn one? I say Levys haggling looses many a transfer. I say he does it on purpose. You say it's the player.

Difference of opinion. No one is being stubborn. We believe differently. Get over it. We aren't joined at the hip you know (Fortunately). My opinion doesn't have to affect you. Don't loose any sleep over it.

Which is your right. I just feel it’s very harsh on conte to blame him if we don’t get 4th.
Many blamed Rednapp, many Blamed Poch, many blamed Jose, many Blamed Nuno and many will blame Conté.

Stockholm syndrome. People feel sorry for Levy because Liverpool stole Diaz and Barca stole Traore. He is such a Great Chairman. He hired Conté. He showed us he really Loves us. Nuno over sold his CV to poor Levy. José publicly humiliates Levy. Poch was ungrateful and started to challenge him. Poor Levy. He built a stadium for us and then COVID came along......

Poor Levy he really cares about TFC

It was decent as we've had a freshen up. We got rid of some stinkers who were bringing negative vibes around the place and we've bought in two players who can't wait to prove themselves.

The 4 other teams fighting for top 4 did nothing and some even had outgoings with no incomings. The mood around their place is going to be somber.

Woolwich and West Ham fans melting after signing no one.

In 2018 when we didn't sign any players the phrase "standing still is going backwards" rightly used.

For this window I propose "you only have to be better than those nearest to you"

And no one around us got any better. I'd say Woolwich, with all the players gone and no one at all in are weaker.
