Match Man City v TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR; Saturday 19th February; KO 17:30

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I have to say Pep hasn't learnt anything playing against us.

He always plays into our hands leaving acres of space for Son to run into.

Definition of madness doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
Once after Poch beat him badly the second game that season he did change, had them press us all game give us no space, they had to work all game but did beat us zi seem to remember. But yeah, normally he just expects to win on quality rather than tactics. Most teams just role over.

And then he kept talking about it like a salty bitch.

A simple, "we tried, didn't work" would suffice.

Why is he going on an on about how hard they tried and how we are to negotiatie with?

Cearly trying to unsettle Kane and give the impression they tried their best, maybe give him hope for another summer.

Fact is, they plopped down a 100m for Grealish without blinking an eye, and then tried to play dirty with us. Levy did exactly the right thing by not picking up the phone.
The whole footballing world knew that Harry himself wanted to leave Spurs - for Man City. If Harry - or his agent for that sake - had come out to denounce the "rumors" (that were in fact facts) it would have put an end to the whole circus.
Pep simply replied to a question about something that was well-known.
There have been instanced where Spurs also have pursued players during a whole transfer window ... and the player ends up staying. Same, same.
And I wish Levy had plopped down the $25M for Grealish back when that was his going price.

I can only take so much joy ffs;

"I am enjoying my time with Tottenham because I have found the best group of players in my career that I manage because there is a great trust in the things we are doing.

"This group of players are good persons. They are fantastic, they deserve to improve to the next level."

Never seen a manager of ours go on about a player we failed to get like this.
